Freshman year could be a new world to everyone because it helps the student to grow both academic and physical. In my second semester at Seaman High School is full of an opportunity and lessons. Lessons that will help me to grow the to person I want to be. An opportunity to help me to have a better grade and succeed with the help of my teachers. My second semester is complicated. Finishing first semester did not mean that I can handle the second semester smoothly like I expected. The second semester is harder than the first semester but it helps me to find the woman I want to be. The second semester taught me to appreciate the opportunity given to you because not everyone has these opportunities you have. In this second semester,
I do think there was a difference between freshman and sophomore year, the difference was that sophomore year was harder, was very difficult. I stretched my experience as a freshman to a -sophomore by becoming a less mean person. Listening to my mother & my father, this helped me understand that I should me not be rude. Now I know there are serious flaws that I needed to change,as I go through
Junior year was full of many new experiences. We were now classified as upper classmen! Just like any of the other years in high school this year had just as many ups and downs. One of the main stresses in eleventh grade was the SAT. For sure one of the scariest things that I have ever had to do. All of the preparation going into it and the amount of studying made me feel as if I wasn’t going to have a brain by the time the testing was over. I took college and career readiness, which really helped prepare me for what was to come. By this time in high school I had already had my job for a little over a month, so I already knew what to expect once school started. I am thankful enough that at my job you get to leave at seven because I hear many
Freshman year, I imagined that year to be amazing. I wanted it to just have an awesome flow but did it? It did in the beginning then a bomb went off during the middle of the year and turned freshman year into a complete disaster. Freshman year was supposed to be about having a great start to the rest of your high school life before you enter the big bad world but other students just couldn't help themselves but to create that bomb during the middle of my freshman year.
One piece of advice that I would give to an incoming high school freshman would be that you should not worry about what other people think about you. You do not need to impress anyone and you most certainly do not need to try and change yourself for that person. There will be people in your life who try and make you do things that you normally would not do and maybe are not comfortable with. Do not let someone change you. If that person does not like that you do not do something that they do, or act how they act, chances are you probably should not be hanging around with them.
Your freshman year will be exciting, but it can also be intimidating. It is the start of four long years of high school, some of the most important years of your life. There are a lot of important things to do your freshman year, many of which I didn't start until much later. So here is some advice that will help you survive your freshman year, and prepare you for the rest of high school.
Making varsity your freshman year of high school is very uncommon due to all of the upperclassmen who have been playing for longer and who have also been on the team longer. My first wish is to make varsity my freshman year of high school on the Piedmont Lady Wildcat soccer team. I wish for this because I really do love soccer and making the team would really mean a whole bunch to me. Making the varsity team would make me feel like I accomplished something large. I could accomplish so much from being on the varsity team, I would have greater competition since I would be younger. If I tried I could also gather a scholarship easier into a college. If I do make the team that would show all of my hard work and dedication to the
Freshman year is looked at as if it will be the hardest time of anyone’s life. Being a new freshman can be a pretty scary thing, but there are some upsides to it. You get to meet new people, play high school sports, join all kinds of clubs, and many other things. Being a Freshman is not as hard as society makes it out to be. I found that if you work hard, balance your extra curricular activities with your school work, and stay organized, you will find that freshman year is actually no different from any other.
Freshmen year, as well as social punishments it also builds you for the future and is almost like the training camp for the upcoming Junior SAT’s. To pass these huge tests you have to be consistent, responsible and social. You aren't just born superb at everything, you have to undergo hardships and struggles to be the best you can possible be. Freshman year really determines
Sophomore year in high school had greater demand on my time and made me realize about my future more than my freshman year. Time management has been a theme I was constantly reminded with academic and extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the realization of entering college and pursuing a career is closer than before. These two factors have transformed my outlook of my junior year.
Im writing this letter to my future self for Ms. Meyers English class and to be placed in the Freshman Time Capsule to open when I'm a senior.
Many people knows the pain of losing someone close, whether through death or just simple, moving. But one pain that is not typically considered is the pain of time or more specifically the pain of time pulling you apart.
Freshman year of high school is traditionally a year of finding a niche, getting involved, and making new friends. Many students often get into a groove or routine they follow on a day to day, in order to gain structure or order. Order (n.): an antonym for my first year of high school.
The people, our surroundings, and our memories are what make the years of high school go by at the blink of an eye. Freshmen year, scared of all teachers, classes, and new people. Sophomore year is a breeze because you finally understand the bell schedules, and you’re aware of the teacher’s expectations. Junior year, the stress hits you all at once. You’ve got the ACT, EOCs, and many other tests that are a major part of your future education.
Coming into freshman year I was very nervous. I had no idea what to expect of how things would go. My friends and I all felt the same way we didn’t have a clue what would happen or what we would do. We all the seen the movies of the kid who gets shoved into a locker in high school and how there are a lot of bullies. For some kids that may be the reality of high school but my freshman year went by without a problem. I was worried about nothing everyone seemed to get along and not have to many problems. I have only positive experiences from freshman year and I hope incoming students find it to be nothing to worry about. What I was worried about the most was how upperclassmen might treat me and my fellow classmates, but i learned that they just don’t care too much about you they are here for the same reasons. I think it would be easy to get positive experiences by just making sure the upperclassmen are patient while freshmen figure out high school, the freshman also need to get involved in plenty of activities to make new friends and meet different people.
My first year of high school was filled with adventures and difficulties throughout the years. Comparing to my other years, I took challenges, such as taking on sports while finding the time for my school works and achieving my goals. However, I was able to find the way and fight through my freshman year.
