Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare was a hard play for me to understand because of the language but I think Romeo was to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet but it wasn't an easy question to answer. I don't know if there is one correct answer but I think the blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Romeo. Perhaps Friar Lawrence has something to do with it but I mainly think Romeo is to blame. There were a number of deaths in the play and I thought if I looked at them it will prove my point.

The names of the people who died in the play are Mercutio stabbed by Tybalt ( Act 3,Scene 1) After that Tybalt was stabbed by Romeo in revenge also in Act 3, Scene 1. Later as the tragedy goes on Paris is killed by Romeo in Act 5, Scene 3. Romeo also kills himself by taking poison in Act 5,Scene 3 followed by Juliet who stabbed herself in the same Act and scene. Later Lady Montague dies because she was sad over Romeo's death. The name that pops up all the time is Romeo. however i think Romeo was is more responsible for the deaths because he started the chain of events …show more content…
