Discussion and update on the new GS program troop in a box. This program involves the partnership of the ERS/IRS/GES teams.
Kate offered a brief overview of the new program. It will focus on the recruitment of Daisy and Brownie level girls. The two binders created contains a 6-meeting plan; the Daisy troop will earn 10 petals and the Brownies will earn 6 badges based on the theme of girls learning about themselves and friendship. The kit will include all the materials and supplies required for the Leader to get the troop started.
The troops will not have a bank account nor will the girls participate in product sales. This program acts as an introduction to what GS are all about, in addition, to acquaint potential volunteers to the troop leader role.
Melissa mentioned the collaboration with marketing/communication to ensure that the GS brand will be used in its correct format and also to offer assistance with graphic and content edits.
She reiterated that this pilot program is not a money maker for the organization, but there will be a cost involved. In addition, the staff needs to confirm the cost for leader and girls; secure locations; think of what type of recruitment and promotion needs to be carried out for a successful result. Also, what type of resources to offer to the volunteers to help them in their leadership

Therefore, today I wish to issue a proposal in which we bring back the Bracero Program

Girls can also do more complex badges like woodworking. For example, a professional woodworker could come to a Girl Scout meeting and teach girls how to use the advanced machinery. The benefits of being a CSA are girls are able to do more interesting and fun badges like the Cadette Detective Badge; host special scouting events like a murder mystery dinner for younger girls, and take part in older girl activities like Scuba
In 1912, Juliette Gordon Low had an idea, one that would change the world and help others to change the world. She was friends with the man who created Boy Scouts, and she decided to create something along the same line - but for girls.
The youth and teens across the world are thriving in the benefits of multiple options of outreach programs. Theses outreach programs are set to encourage the children to build the highest morale, character, and healthy development of today’s youths. It is great that there are several outreach programs but some of our nationally funded programs are absorbing a large amount of our resources (time and money) without achieving results or being as successful verses the cost of the program. The D.A.R.E program is a great example when it comes to the shortcomings of the cost verses the outcome comparison. I would like to see the millions of dollars that is spent to up keep and maintain the D.A.R.E. program be used to fund and extend the services of

As I have been attending the Open Door program at Holy Resurrection Church, I have noticed that the program tries to impact the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual well-being of those that are participating as volunteers and as attendees. In terms of the physical impact that the program has, the attendees are offered a meal as well as some supplies to help them get through the week. They are also given the opportunity to go through a stack of donated clothes where they can take whatever they need. The program does not impact the physical well-being of those volunteering but it does impact their intellectual well-being.
It’s important to us that the scout troops get to learn and experience new activities in a healthy and
The use of a hierarchical structure is a distinctive competence for Yorkville Cub Scout Pack 350 because the organization is aware of the need for such a structure, and operates successfully. The structure provides a level of protection for the organization by outlining each aspect of the organization, the volunteer’s roles and responsibilities, and requirements of each volunteer position. Yorkville Cub Scout Pack 350 also discourages a single volunteer from holding multiple positions within the organization. Through personal experience, this is not a common practice in Yorkville Cub Scout Packs, which provides a distinctive competence for Yorkville Cub Scout Pack 350. Multiple positions operated by a single individual can encourage confusion and overwhelm the volunteer, preventing the tasks and responsibilities from being completed in a timely manner.
