Good Evening Andrew,
Thank you so much for your post and kind words. I greatly appreciate it! I have always enjoyed reading your post and comments. Your knowledge and discussions on our various studies has always been educational and useful to me and our fellow classmates. I have always said that the discussions and sharing of information on our DQ’s has been one of my favorite parts of my GCU journey.
Now to your two very insightful questions. Your first question, “How often do you believe the professionals discussed in this post should be meeting to discuss progress made by the students in question?” I believe that the student’s team should meet periodically throughout the course of the school year, or more if circumstances warrant it. I
Good evening, parents, teachers, and fellow students. We are here tonight to honor our 8th graders from Heninger Elementary K-8 who have worked very hard to make to it where we are tonight. I’m one of the very lucky students that attended since pre-k and in my time here I have learned many things, not just educational but also life lessons as well and found many friendships. My fellow classmates and I are here tonight at our 8th grade promotion from Heninger Elementary. We are the graduating class of 2018!
First off I would like to congratulate everyone for making it this far. I would like to thank my classmates, my friends, and my family. I especially want to thank our teachers, for always supporting and encouraging us. If it weren’t for the people who support us daily, we would not be where we are today. I would like everyone to turn to their families, and teachers to thank them for all that they have done for us.
I have the distinct pleasure of welcoming all of you into the National Honor Society, a group built off of high standards of achievement, not only in the area of academics but also in character and leadership. I congratulate each of you and your parents.
Congratulations! You have been officially accepted to Motlow State Community College. We have received all of the required admission materials, and your file is now complete.

Some people have asked to read the commencement address I delivered this morning to the 2013 graduates of Butler University. So here it is.
I am hoping by now they informed you that some of them will leave class 10/15 minutes early to assist kindergartners. I will have a better schedule soon to forward to you. There will be no more than 6 total students leaving from both GTT and Spanish. If you need to keep them, please see if another student can go instead, if not than keep them. They are still responsible for any work that they miss.
As a member of Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) Leaders Engaging in Advance Discoveries (LEAD), were are expected to complete eighty hours of service over the course of two academic school years. Each semester VCU LEAD students are required to complete twenty hours of service, ten-community engagement hours and ten leadership hours. I believe that having a requirement of participation hours pushes students to get involved on VCU’s campus and the greater Richmond area, introduces time management, as well as influences them to reflect on their new found experiences.
Hello Region 6. I am Savannah Schisler, a sophomore from Littlestown High School, and I am the best candidate for your 2015-2016 Treasurer. I want to prove to you that I am a leader, and I want to lead our region to be better and more connected than we have ever been. For our region, I would like to promote the Business Achievement Awards, as I am currently working on the third level. I believe that the BAA can help FBLA members to grow and help their schools and communities grow to be better as well. The BAA also provide great opportunities that I believe all FBLA members should have access to, and in the end, the BAA would help us grow as a region. Also, I would seek to help with the financing of the winter banquet for our region. I believe that if, as a region, we could all get together and connect with each other one last time before the
Hello my name is Joshua Simpson! I am 16 years old and I live in the Great Lake State! After graduating from SC4, I plan on transferring over to Wayne State University to earn my Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. When I am not in school, I play the piano and the organ. And I love to draw!! The reason why I am taking this class is because I want to learn about the body and how it works, and also to learn how I can have a healthy life. I hope to gain knowledge from this class about how I can live a healthy and happy life. If I were to chose 4 words to describe me I would chose, hardworking, determined, diligent, and silly! I picked this words because I am always hardworking and diligent in my studies. I am very determined to finish school
Hello Everyone! My name is Carolyn, a recently divorced mom of a beautiful 11 year old daughter and a feisty, but adorable, 13 week old kitten. I am currently working on my last few pre-requisites before applying to TCC Nursing Program. It is so wonderful to be here with you all. Good luck on a successful
I hope all is well. I would like to thank you for the card and money it is greatly appreciated. I had a wonderful Easter and I hope you did as well.
Welcome staff, family, friends, and of course, class of 2018. This is not just a graduation, it is a commencement. That word is important because we almost exclusively think of this as an end, but the word commencement evokes beginnings. My sincere hope is that you will mark this as the beginning of a lifetime of learning and not as the end. You may be thinking, yes this is it, I’ve done all my assignments, read all my textbooks, I’m done. But that’s not the case. We live in a society that values winning trophies and awards over earning them. 4.0’s over truly wrestling with the material you are learning or enjoying yourself while doing it. We want a quick fix, an instantaneous way of being recognized. A way to
FYI-JoAnn and I had a conversation this morning, as I am extremely concerned about the number of DAY (TUG) students that are wanting to enter the SPS program only to find out that their intentions are to proceed back to the DAY (TUG) program as they get closer to finishing their program. Case in point, I have a Caroline Womble who has applied to SPS and is cleared to do so, but from information told to me, she walked last spring but needs 5 more classes. So would she be considered a SPS grad or DAY (TUG) graduate when she finishes? There is also Haley (Hedgepeth) Canovai who while at the moment has an account balance, plans to enter the SPS program for BA Liberal Studies, but wants to transition back to DAY to finish as a Communication
Congratulations on graduating from Cathedral High School! You have been put in so much effort, determination, and hard work into school these past four years. You are graduating with an excellent GPA while at the same time participating in many activities, church, and working your job at Target. Your demonstration of priorities has been very impressive to me and you certainly have found a good balance!
