Hello my name is Joshua Simpson! I am 16 years old and I live in the Great Lake State! After graduating from SC4, I plan on transferring over to Wayne State University to earn my Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. When I am not in school, I play the piano and the organ. And I love to draw!! The reason why I am taking this class is because I want to learn about the body and how it works, and also to learn how I can have a healthy life. I hope to gain knowledge from this class about how I can live a healthy and happy life. If I were to chose 4 words to describe me I would chose, hardworking, determined, diligent, and silly! I picked this words because I am always hardworking and diligent in my studies. I am very determined to finish school

Yesterday marked the ending of 4 LONG years! Through all the mistakes and hardships I've faced, I can proudly say I finally made it! I am so excited to start college in the Fall to Bethune-Cookman University on a full tuition scholarship. I am extremely proud of all my classmates and so thankful for my family and friends. Thank you God for this opportunity many don't get to enjoy. I can't wait to see all God has in store for me!
Senior year rapidly is coming to an end, I’ve had the opportunity to see many of my friends come to the exciting moment in their life when they sign that dotted line and I was still waiting on my chance. My entire life I had dreamt of the day to finally committed to a college basketball team, this was my goal and it had to be my purpose in life. January 18, 2015 at 4:41 PM I got an exciting text from Truett-Mcconnell’s head coach, Matt Sanders, stating,” Good afternoon Claudia this is Coach Sanders from Truett-Mcconnell College, and I really feel like we need to begin the recruiting process with you! Sorry to bother you on a Sunday, but I just didn’t want to let time slip away! I look forward to hearing back from you!” Here was my chance!
Welcome to Mt. Edgecumbe High School! Coming here, far away from home may be nerve-racking, but you just got accepted to one of the best schools in Alaska. Not everyone who applied got accepted, which is why you shouldn’t take this opportunity for granted. Attending MEHS, Mount Edgecumbe High School, is way different from being at home; for instance, you’re not living with your parents anymore and you have to teach yourself to be independent. This may seem frightening, but by coming here you can get a better education than from where you live, which is why I encourage you to stay all four years. Since you’re a MEHS Brave now, I am going to tell you some things that I personally like and dislike about MEHS. I will also tell you what to expect while you’re
Ambitious, adventurous, and persistent are words that people use to describe me. I am outgoing, hardworking, and always determined to get things done. My life has been nothing but easy. When I was growing up I went through many hardships my father left me and my mom when I was only two I grew up not really knowing who my father was because he left when I was so young. Growing up all I wanted was somone to call Dad. My mom struggled a lot with being a single mom, she was trying to raise two kids by herself, but she made it and I have to say she raised two pretty good kids, my brother is in the Army and is making his making something out of himself. I have turnd out to be a strong independent woman. My education is taking off I have achieved many things in high school, I have high standards for my educational goals I will not stop until I get the best education that I can have. I feel that Mercyhurst University will get me to where I want to be.
Good evening everyone and welcome to the Nova Southeastern University class of 2016 Graduation ceremony.
During the last three years of my attendance here at Mt. Edgecumbe High School, I could not think of a teacher who has influenced me more than yourself. You’ve taught me to not only appreciate music, but to appreciate life. I’ve spent a total of four semesters in your Choir class and one semester in your Accounting class. We’ve traveled to two music festivals through Choir class, which are two of my most memorable experiences here in MEHS. I’ve also been apart of the MEHS award-winning Radio Club under your supervision. You’ve certainly witnessed my development as a maturing adult. It would be an honor to have a letter of recommendation from a teacher like yourself. Thank you for making my high school years enjoyable. If you choose to write
On behalf of the entire Faculty I would like to welcome you to South Dakota State University; from now on you are Jackrabbits. You are walking in the footsteps of more than 75,000 alumni that have used the foundations gained here at State to develop successful careers as farmers and ranchers, teachers, entrepreneurs, State Governors, US Congress members, Nobel Prize winners, NFL players, professors and even University Presidents.
Hello everyone! My name's Ally Ward and I'm a senior at South Stanly High School. Currently I'm taking CCP courses with SCC, so that I'll have two years under my belt when I start college. I plan to attend Gardner-Webb University this Fall and major in English with a teaching license. After I receive my major I plan to get my doctorate in English and then get a job as an English professor. I also love to read, shoot archery, ride horses, and spend time with my family.
So … snaps fingers … wow! This is a lot of people. Well, first off, congratulations everyone; you all made it this far. Hopefully you will be able to make through this speech. According to page ten of the Chisago Lakes High School Student Handbook, all of you have earned at least 28 credits in a variety of disciplines throughout the last four years. And for those English nerds out there, I do have a properly formatted works cited page if you would like to fact-check me. Don’t worry.
Welcome to Lakenheath High School! Lakenheath has a lot to offer that most people don’t realize and I didn’t realize until it was too late. If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to join a club, any of them, even if you don’t think you’ll be interested.
Speaking for myself, I like to describe myself as funny, smart, and hardworking. But if I had to choose one word to describe myself, I would choose “hardworking”. My whole life I have tried to push myself to do the best I can do. From the start of my freshman year all the way to my senior year I will have completed four years of Vocational Agriculture. My favorite part of being in Agriculture is attending “Ag. Day” because you get to teach second graders the importance of farming. Therefore, I want to continue to be a hardworking person, but also
I hope all is well. I would like to thank you for the card and money it is greatly appreciated. I had a wonderful Easter and I hope you did as well.
I don’t even know where to start with this State of the Union Speech. I thought it was incredible. It was well written and wasn’t full of bogus. As a kid who is confused, and sometimes even scared of politics, I could understand it. One major thing that stood out to me was the talk about America’s strength. My fellow students at school have no faith in our country, and always go around saying, “Obama sucks!” I always knew that they were wrong, but sometimes watching the news, I worried. It seems nothing good is ever happening. Reading the President's speech, I now know some of the truth, and it has calmed my worries. Another thing that stood out to me was the climate change stuff, that is a big worry of mine. Yes, it has been proven true
Ever since I could remember my parents told me that college was key to being successful in life, if you didn 't attend a good college your life was most likely not going to be a very happy one. This message stay throughout my life , education was of great importance and college was the key factor of where you ended up in life. High school counselors, teachers, parents, and mentors all emphasized that the better the college you attend the more opportunities you 'll have. Being a high school senior and having to think seriously about the future now, I applied for many schools and landed at Utah Valley University, a great feeder school for Brigham Young University. I attended Utah Valley University for 1 semester and I really enjoyed many aspects of going to a university but decided to go back home to orange county and attend a community college instead, Coastline Community College. I have so far been enrolled at coastline for about a month and can see the likenesses and the differences between the university life and the community college life. I can see no college is alike, and that doesn 't mean one college is better than another. It took transferring to a community college to see that not even a university is better than a community college.
