If we do not take action, the oppressed will never see the light of day, and the oppressor will become more inhumane and feel more superior, and their superiority over others may eventually then cause another World War and Holocaust. Will we intervene then when genocide finally impacted us directly? And what of those who have suffered and died previously? This is why action must be taken when actions such as genocide occurs.
