“Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush will make his first official campaign stop in Colorado” (Rittiman). Jeb Bush started his presidential campaign August 25th and seems to be falling fast just two months later. Suffering Donald Trump 's reality show style insults and the problems his family 's dynasty created Jeb has been steadily falling in the polls. He first came out running with many people behind him seeing him as genuine, but now he is beginning to fall prey to Trump 's demonization. Bush is losing funding fast and unfortunately for him some are calling him the next Scott Walker.
Jeb Bush is a real contender for primary. It would not be fair to call him a pretender, but he is losing support fast. Bush has even publicly shown indication of his loss of faith.
“If this election is about how we’re going to fight to get nothing done,” Mr. Bush said, then “I don’t want any part of it. I don’t want to be elected president to sit around and see gridlock just become so dominant that people literally are in decline in their lives. That is not my motivation.” He added, “I’ve got a lot of really cool things I could do other than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them. That is a joke. Elect Trump if you want that” (Cillizza).
His statement came off as whiny and entitled to most people, and only gives people who are against his campaign more ammunition on him. He shows to the public that he has thin skin,
He appeals to this dislike of political correctness, “They have put political correctness above common sense, above your safety above all else,” he said regarding Obama and Hillary Clinton (Weigel). He takes anti-political correctness to the extremes, as he disregarded political correctness through his actions in his campaign. He “tells it like it is,” no matter how offensive. These are just a few quotes from him this campaign season: “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever,” regarding Megan Kelly, “Look at that face. Would anybody vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?” regarding Carly Fiorina, and “They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists” regarding Mexican immigrants
The Adams’, Roosevelt’s, Kennedy’s, and even Clinton’s earned the ability to have their name represent power and respect. The Bush’s have not earned that ability, but they will continue to try. One Bush was enough, but we had to endure a 2nd, and entertain the possibility of a 3rd. Jeb Bush just plainly does not have “it”, but that did not stop his establishment fueled Super PAC from raising him millions of dollars. The populace has shown that they are looking for an outsider, and Jeb Bush is the furthest thing from it. He may have been more successful if ran in 2012, when he would have been a Bushier version of Mitt Romney, but in 2016 his campaign has faltered heavily. We are seeing that the “Smart” Bush is not all that smart. He is not charismatic or quick on his feet (saying Margaret Thatcher should be on the $10 bill was ill-advised), so he just has his record and name to run on. His reputation as Governor is marred by the Terry Schiavo case, but he did bring in job growth and balanced budgets. Running on his family name might not yield the best of returns, as the taste of his brother has not yet left the national pallet. Jeb!, despite all his faults, is one of the most practical people running. He is statesmanlike, has knowledge on the issues, and seems to have a genuine desire to help the American people. Jeb likely won’t win the nomination, but the GOP could do a lot
On March 15, Marco Rubio was embarrassingly destroyed in his home state’s Presidential Primary against Donald Trump, 46%-27%. After that, he decided to drop out of the race, and has still yet to actually endorse Mr. Trump. With Rep. David Jolly and Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera floundering in the campaign, the Republican Party started pushing Marco Rubio to reverse his decision and run re-election because he would be a much better candidate.
During the first GOP debate, hosted by FOX News, Trump memorably raised his hand when asked if anyone would not make the pledge to run as an independent candidate. This led to weeks of behind-the-scenes efforts by GOP leaders trying to avoid a repeat of the 1992 elections when billionaire businessman Ross Perot ran a third party nomination, siphoning votes from President George H.W. Bush and causing him to lose to Bill Clinton.
Long Island, N.Y. — Looking ahead to the New York presidential primary, Ohio Governor John Kasich is wasting no time campaigning in the state that will play a pivotal role in deciding who will get the nomination come July.
He spoke of marriage being a sacred institution and a foundation of society that should not be re-defined by activist judges and how he supports and amendment that will protect it. Also that medical research needs to be supported to improve our culture of life. He tanked Congress for doubling the funding of the National Institute of Health. I
The current race for the Republican nominee has gained much controversy as well as coverage among Americans. The road to the nomination of the Republican party is going to be, in my opinion, an unpredictable turn of events. Currently, there are three potential Republican nominee’s. Ted Cruz is a United States Senator, John Kasich is the Governor of Ohio, and Donald Trump that is a real estate mogul. Donald Trump remains having a substantial lead in the party’s nomination. By the current trends of polls, money, and endorsements of front-runner Donald Trump, he will win the Republican nomination for the White House on the first ballot and be able to avoid a contested convention in Cleveland in July.
2016 presidential election has many interesting and well informed candidates to date, the candidates which I find to be the most informed and best suited to lead the free world is Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio’s platform is based on youth, diversity and a new way of thinking about this generation. In this essay Marco Rubio’s background, quotes and plans as president will be stated to better understand why he is the best candidate for the presidential election.
He speaks the thoughts of the audience. In an attempt to defense himself from the attack of his opponents he said, “I have no desire to get rid of safety nets for people who need them. I have a strong desire to get rid of programs that create dependency in able-bodied people.” In the audience were mostly republican. One of their beliefs is individuals need to work hard for what they get. However, in these recent past year under the lead of President Obama, taxes had been brought (back) up to a very high level. Which include Income tax, Income Payroll tax, Capital Gain tax, etc. And they believe that most of their taxes money had gone into what they called “The Obamacare” and some other welfare programs. Most important thing is, some of the people who are receiving money from these welfare programs are totally capable of working and making their own living. This made the audience feel like he understands and feels what they feel.
Which makes a twisted kind of sense. The man captured the attention of an entire country when he started off his presidential campaign railing against undocumented immigrants, and has made a name for himself as a presidential candidate spouting off hateful drivel. It’s been a ratings boon for networks, a rallying cry for conservatives and self-congratulatory bonanza for liberals that have taken to Facebook to bash him.
“What worried me was not what happens to me personally if I failed—what worries me is what happens to these ideas,” he tells Ball when explaining that the fate of American people is more important than his own fate. While considering the possibility of a loss, he admitted he didn’t expect to gain so much popularity, showing dubitatio regarding his own skill. More disinterest appears after this when he met with his volunteers, where he stated that they shouldn’t bother with waving signs for him because of the brutal heat, showing he puts his concern for the peoples’ comfort above his campaign. This shows a personal sacrifice on his part, and sympathy for the supporters, furthering his character and appealing to their

According to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, Trump has fallen from first place second, being succeeded by Texas senator, Ted Cruz in Saturday’s national GOP debate that took place in South Carolina.
Some people don’t believe Obama. Sometimes Barack Obama can’t offend you and make you feel if he wasn’t on your side. But he’s just trying to get a point across to say everyone is equal. So maybe at some point you will feel. Where he's coming from on some of his speeches.
Every four years, the esteemed presidential position is opened. Through this occasion, American citizens have the power to exercise their right to vote and form their opinions of candidates that they feel will make a better difference for the nation. The Republican GOP Candidacy is consisted of a whopping large number of candidates ready to fight for the competitive one Republican nominee position. Most of these candidates consist of active and former political figures, esteemed businessmen, and an unknown director of pediatric neuroscience. Though these Republican candidates possess popularity and conservative values, former Florida governor John Ellis Bush or Jeb Bush will be the next presidential nominee of the United States because of his successful political experience, extensive
