Abstract
I hope this proposal will assist the reader in understanding our Earth’s critical condition and ways even an individual can attribute to the betterment of our environment.
Global Climate Change Proposal Scientists refer to global climate change as any alteration in the average temperature involving the climate system. The climate system involves the following: our atmosphere, including temperature, clouds and wind, precipitation, humidity, atmosphere trace gas and aerosol distribution; oceans; volcanoes; land; cryosphere, which includes ice cover and snow cover; and the sun (Murck, Skinner, & Mackenzie, 2010). For myself, personally, I believe each and every prediction of the expert scientist could very well come true. For example, the extinction of species has already started. As temperature increases around the world, the habitats of animals are doing the opposite; shrinking. Murck, Skinner, & Mackenzie (2010) identified a breed of penguins known as Adelie penguins that have made the West Antarctica Peninsula their home for many years because of the ice cold temperatures; however, recently the number of Adelie penguins has “sharply declined” due to the fact, naturally, they prefer the cold sub-artic temperatures. To look at the big picture, this means that animals will have to migrate, find a way to survive in a different environment and temperature, or, unfortunately, become extinct due to the global climate change. Many species may very well become extinct in our lifetime.
Another aspect, or negative consequence, of global climate
We've all heard about global warming as well as climate change. Climate Change is the buildup of massive amounts of man made greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere. Causing the Earth's temperature to slowly rise over a long period of time.The amount of carbon dioxide in the air has increased rapidly over the years. A big question is climate change a hazard to future generations? Climate change is and always will be a hazard to future generations and not just for human beings, but for all kinds of species. The comprehension to accept it, is a hazard that species that cannot adapt to the change in climate are more likely become extinct. Luckily, human beings are masters of adaptability. Because our own evolution is a reason for climate change and our capability to adapt. After all, the hazards are always there should we ever fail to adapt fast enough. Our climate is always changing, both naturally and due to human effect on the environment. There were already beyond doubt, proof that animals, birds, and plants are being affected by climate change.
Global warming is defined as the recent increase in the world 's temperature that is believed to be caused by the increase of certain gases (such as carbon dioxide) in the atmosphere. There are many different theories on whether global warming is similar or not to climate change. Simplistically, climate change is different because climate change is defined as a change in global or regional climate patterns or, in particular, a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels, having been measured over long periods of time, due to the changes in Earth’s orbit and organic carbon which reflect sunlight. Global warming and climate change are not to be confused because global warming is caused mainly by anthropogenic factors like the emission of carbon dioxide gas and use of fossil fuels whereas climate change is completely natural, however, according to Milan Radovanovic, “it is clear that the anthropogenic factors dominate the increasing temperature and the natural ones have the maximum influence…” (Radovanovic). Therefore, “the contribution to global warming from natural forcings and from natural internal variability is in the range between -0.2 to 0.2 [degrees] celsius over the period 1951-2010…” (Radovanovic). Climate change is something that affects us all as a human race, and we need to do something about it immediately. Ultimately, climate change is dangerous and upon us more than we realize. While there are some individuals who don't believe it exists at all, there are some who simply believe it is not caused by humans on this planet. My goal for this paper is to make aware the dangers that climate change poses to our planet and the human race. While doing this, I hope to provide fact-based evidence that supports the claim that we, as humans, cause the dangerous phenomena that is climate change and that we need to change our course of action before it is too late.
The 19th as well as the 20th century have been the most prolific time periods in modern history as concerns science, technology and socio-economic development. Within these two centuries we witnessed the discovery of electricity, the invention of the engine which played a very important role in the maturity of the well-known industrial revolution. Through this revolution people began to live in a more decent and comfortable manner; new commodities were produced and entire new kinds of industry were developed. Although all these inventions, discoveries and scientific breakthroughs improved in an outstanding way our well-being, they also provided us with some troubles that scientists had never foreseen or even imagined.

Climate change can be defined as a significant change in the “average weather” of any given region sustained in the long-term and can be caused by Earth 's dynamic processes, external forces including variations in sunlight intensity, and also by human activities (USEPA, 2014).
Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, once said that “No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change.” In fact, scientific evidence for climate change is undeniable and the effects of climate change are beginning to be felt all around the world (“Global Climate Change”). Furthermore, evidence to support these claims for climate change can be found anywhere from the tops of mountains to ice cores drawn from the bottom of the earth. For these reasons, the causes, effects, and solutions of climate change need to be understood, so that all people of the next generation still have a suitable habitat to live in.
Global Warming is a high rise in the usual climate heat on the Earth's surface. People often use the term climate change to refer mainly to the warming observed since the middle 1800's. Scientists guess that Earth's normal surface temperature rose by about 0.76 Celsius degrees or 1.4 Fahrenheit degrees from the middle 1800's to the 2000's. Researchers have also found that most of the temperature rise happened from the middle 1900's to the 2000's. Normal processes have caused Earth's weather to change in the distant past. But scientists have found big evidence that people activities have caused most of the warming since the middle 1900's.
The exact definition of global warming according to the Oxford dictionary is a gradual increase in overall temperature of earth’s atmosphere that is generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increasing levels of carbon dioxide and other pollutants.
