Choosing vacations destinations can become a stressful process. However, if the goal is to find locations outside of the United States and wan to travel to countries in the Caribbean and Latin America I have a few suggestions for you. Negril, Jamaica and Cancun Mexico are among the best vacations spots I have ever visited. The beaches, the accommodations, and the food is amazing in both countries.

Nicknamed the Valley Isle, Maui is filled with artist communities and unique small towns. From small bakeries in Wailuki to farm-to-table cuisine, visitors can enjoy delicious dining opportunities. Home to humpback whales and sandy beaches, Maui has been ranked as the best island in the Conde Nast Traveler for over 20 years.

Cube, Jamaica, Hispaniola, and Puerto Rico are also in the apart of the Caribbean islands. Haiti is west of the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is West of Haiti. Cuba is Northwest of Haiti. The offshore Islands of Tortuga and Gonave belong to Haiti.

The group of islands is home to some of the world's most most active volcanoes and the youngest landmasses in the United States. The youthful islands, surrounded by water, have also gained notoriety for being the birth place of modern surfing. Additionally, the lush and dynamic tropical paradise is known for its Aloha spirit. Native Hawaiians warmly welcome all mainlanders who choose to visit Hawaii's beautiful shores. Hawaii is made up of six distinctive major islands: Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii Island.

One of the most visited destinations in the Caribbean is St. Croix. It is the largest island and the most multi-ethnic of the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is mostly known as a place of retreat of those travelers looking for serenity. It also offers a tropical escapade with its pristine beaches, lush forests, terrains, and recreational activities.

Today the island stands as a top tourist attraction in America. The island has a Immigration Museum. On the island there's a self-guided tour around the Island to see everything you wish.

The islands & the sea in Colombia are phenomenal! In Cartagena Colombia there are very famous islands named “Islas Del Rosario”. They are available to the public unless you pay. But it's worth it because you get taken in a yacht, get fed, go scuba diving, an aquarium and it will be an unforgettable experience.While you are in the sea, the water is crystal clear, and there's a whole different world underneath the water. Creatures you have never seen, corals,turtles & so much more.

Most people would rather go to the beach then camping, at Janes Island you can do both! Janes island is the perfect balance between camping paradise, beach paradise and society. It is truly the greatest vacation spot.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are notorious for being the most beautiful mountains in Virginia, especially in the Autumn. These mountains are not the highest peaks, but they are the most versatile; they have many trails, provide first class lodging, a vineyard and provide great biking trails. The Blue Ridge mountains are also home to over one-hundred-thirty species of trees and over one-thousand types of flowers. In the Autumn, the Blue Ridge Mountains attract many tourists to see the lovely colors of the leaves. Also, because of the elevation of the mountains it provides a mild climate to Virginia, most of the time.

Sanibel Island, as you may know, is the home of wonderful vacation resorts. Thousands of people year round come to visit Sanibel and stayed on one of the island’s great resorts to relax and enjoy everything that Sanibel has to offer. And, because of the ever growing number of people from near and far away places that come to visit the island, Sanibel, Florida came to be known as one of the prefect vacation destinations on earth.

The island of Jamaica is very rich in culture and has many historic turnabouts throughout the years. The country has a rich and complex history including being the first country to have Arawak and Taino Indians settle there.

One of the most interesting and exciting places I have had the pleasure of visiting was the Island of Puerto Rico. Getting on the plane and arriving on the island was the easy part, but learning to navigate the island and getting reliable transportation was a whole other ball game.

It may sound like a slight cliché but this is an experience that you will truly never forget, as you feel such unity with nature and this cannot be explained until you have witnessed it yourself. You start to think “maybe this is how life should be lived?” A life without worries, responsibilities or stress, a life that is to be lived out how you want, without any authoritative figure forcing you how to live, presenting you with an immense urge to just leave the dull and dark cruel society that we are faced with everyday to go and discover the kind of rare tranquillity that can be found in an such an incredible place unfound and unscathed by the greed of man. The crystal clear sea, the incredible exotic creatures and the peaceful life style of the Caribbean is what makes it so remarkable.

Whether you are a history lover, a carnival-bound reveler, a beach bum in search of solitude, a nature lover, a birdwatcher, a spring breaker, or a diver, you are guaranteed to find a corner of the Bahamas that will just suit your needs. The islands have a lot to offer to every visitor. The larger
