Graduation Speech: A Humorous Wedding Speech By A Nurse

Thank you for the very nice comments, we have all been working very hard at getting our degrees and I couldn't be more proud of my girls. They are amazing. Rachel is on the final stretch to complete her Masters in Nursing; Leah has completed her A.A and will be starting on her B.B.A.in the fall. I have completed my A.A and my A.S. and started my Bachelors, with plans on completing next spring. With the situation here at work I am taking summer classes to try and be complete with my B.B.A as soon as I can.

Good morning professor Williams, and my fellow students. I am here to introduce to all of you a woman who takes pride in her engagements in different kinds of sports namely soccer, baseball and hunting. Currently, she is into soccer. Through her love for sports, she was able to travel to Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Canada, which is also her second love aside from sports, travelling. Despite her busy schedule juggling between her work as a medical assistant, and a student, she makes sure to find time for soccer.

I am both honored and flattered to have been asked to speak for this wonderful occasion. As I started to draft this speech, I thought, “What is the world am I possibly going to say?” (The majority of you listen to me speak enough during the day.) The word SUCCESS came to mind.

For me it is an honor to address you on this special event; the completion of 22 stressful days of training and the first step in your careers as Noncommissioned officers.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I start my speech by welcoming the guests. Today, we are surrounded by most of the friends and family that have been important to us during our lives. Some have traveled thousands of miles, just to be here today. We welcome you all and thank you sincerely for sharing this special day with us.

I just wanted to inform you that one of the nurses; Joyce LPN was very rude, load, and disrespectful to me in two different occasions. I will appreciate your appropriate notification to her in order to stop disruptions in the work environment.

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for being here for us tonight. It truly is a great honor to be able to speak to you all. To the teachers, my parents, siblings and friends, you have my utmost gratitude. Your support has meant the world to me; from each of the teacher's stubborn effort to force knowledge into our thick heads, to my parents, who made sure to give me enough chores to make going to class the easier option. And to the many, invaluable friends I have made over the time I have attended this school, I will carry you in my heart and memories, as well as in the experiences that have shaped me as a person, with me as I move forward. If anyone would like to order a red polo shirt with the V.A logo on it from canteen service, please send me an email with your shirt size. Shirt prices should be around $14.00. Once I send the shirt size and quantity forward they will get back with me on the deadline that the money will be due along with final cost. As some of you may know Nurses Week is May 6th -12th . My goal is to have the shirts next month so our wonderful nurses staff can wear them on a pacific one day that week. To meet that goal canteen service is willing to work with us to push the order. Please send your response no later than lunch tomorrow (Friday).

At the end of may three classes will come together and student ill be presenting a senior speech. I'm looking forward to standing in front of students and sharing my high school experience. I know your schedule is incredibly busy because of store inventory but I would honestly love if you could make it. You have sacrificed so much for our family, and I don't know what I would do without you. I know sometimes I act stubborn and prideful but I thank you for still staying by me and not given up. You taught me to be strong, that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to, and there is no one else I'd rather invite. I really hope to see you there and hear my accomplishment because they're all for you.

I am Aisha Garcia I am running for student council secretary. Please listen to what I have to say. I will listen to you. I understand you and take your advice into consideration. I believe that everyone should have a say and should express their talents. No matter what talent you have. Whether it is baking, singing, dancing, sports, or gaming. Everyone is accepted. I believe that should have a chance to show everyone what they can do. No one is better than the other. Everyone is equal. I will make sure that no one is left out. Everyone deserves a friend. This year has been a humbling roller coaster, but I appreciate you putting up with me, because I know I was a headache. Actually, thank you for taking me as an intern, because I was last minute and I know you didn’t have to; I just added to your caseload. I can still remember my first interview and the way my leg used to shake whenever I spoke to you. I was always super nervous, because you were Ms. Shaneen. However, over time, as I spoke to you more, you showed me that there was nothing to be afraid of.
