Grass feed butter is butter from cows that have been grazing on their natural diet of grass, rather than grains. Because of that, this butter is a nutrient-dense butter, and if you eat butter, this is the type you should be eating.

Cows that were eating rapidly on growing green grass are known to produce K2( Activator X) in their system. This is an important vitamin that many of modern day diet missing.

One thing to keep in mind, the season does effects the nutrient content of butter. In the warm months when grass is growing rapidly, the butter is a deeper yellow color, which means more nutrients in it. And during the cold months tends to have a lighter color, meaning they have fewer nutrients.
