Writer, William Blumenfield, in his Huffington Post article, “ Environmental Justice a Form of Social Justice,” details the perceptive and political fallibilities of the Republican party in regards to their courses of action towards environmental justice aims. His inclination is to convey the err in their claims and capitalistic objectives, and to promote his ideology that social justice cannot occur without there first being strives to combat against environmental degradation. He develops a strong, but misplaced, pathos throughout his article, devoid of purposeful facts, resulting in a weak argument seemingly based on his resentment towards the Republican party. Blumenfield’s argument is weak in the fact that is argues based on unapologetically tearing down the other side instead of advocating his point while respectfully pointing out the flaws of conflicting views.

The bulk of The Sierra Club’s stances and viewpoints are rife with notions that display the liberal agenda of the organization. Environmentalism and the changes needed to be made to support it are none other than liberal perspectives. As, conservatives, such as blue collar workers and oil companies, are afraid and threatened by new legislation to protect the environment. So naturally, the conservatives oppose such changes in order to continue their operations and not succumb to new environmental measures. This idea is found within the erstwhile Grand Canyon Campaign, in which The Sierra Club compromised with the Bureau of Reclamation in order to save the Grand Canyon from flooding. Though, the bureau still got their power in terms of coal power plants. These Acts dealing with air, water, and other subjects like endangered species, has led to various implementation of regulation within society. Not only that, but they are typically pro-military, pro-religion, and pro-business. In other words, Republicans are known to be conservative. The Republican Party believes that preserving of the environment is a conservative value so long as it does not interfere with economics. Any environmental policy must in return, promise to increase economic growth, and not infringe on private property rights for it to be deemed practical.

Environmentalists host one of America's largest political lobbies. Groups such as Greenpeace protest with millions of members worldwide on issues ranging from destruction of rainforests, oil companies, nuclear wastes, Greenhouse effect, and biodiversity.

The Green Parties primary goal is to help state parties, but they’re committed to many other things to help better the environment for the people. They’re committed to environmental wisdom, peace, social justice, and grassroots organizing. They care a lot about the environment and economy because they both affect the citizens in a variety of ways; the people are their main priority. The Green Party is democratic so all their focus goes straight for the good of the public, every decision, every donation because they receive donations from big corporations, and all their time. For example, if the issue is Universal healthcare, all of their time will go into fulfilling and solving that issue. They’re not as popular as other political parties but they do get the word out there and people follow. They believe that the political system is broken and that’s what grabs the public attention, because a lot of people know that huge corporations like the Koch brothers for example, control part of the government with their money so they can do whatever they please and dump a bunch of waste into our shores. The Green Party wants to attack and straighten that problem, so the top 1% can’t pull things like that. Real leadership is in this party, and that’s what the people like.

What does the earth mean to the human race, what do we owe to the world? The food crisis in America is an even balance of 1 billion hungry and 1 billion obese. This means somewhere along the lines we something is going very wrong. We are being mislead and told that we are going green. Is America really going green? Or is it being fed propaganda to hide the true damage of the process of making are organic so-called natural products?

The United States is commonly known as just a two party system but there are third parties that affect the government just as much. The first form of the national Green Party organization was founded in 1984 as a party that discussed the importance of community involvement and peoples rights. Since then, some of their ideas and opinions have changed but they still believe in the United States people 's rights.
