A hero in general is someone who stands foe strength, endurance, humbleness and shows great bravery. In our modern day society, we have many heroes, such as, firefighter, police officers, lifeguards, soldiers, doctors and even ordinary man and women whom risk their lives everyday. For example, soldiers fight wars on the borders of our country to keep civilians safe. Firefighter control deadly situations in spite of putting themselves in danger to save someone’s life. Ordinary men and women fight incurable diseases like cancer, AIDS, mental and physical disabilities and still have the strength to face life with a positive approach.

Most people freeze and run when their life is at stake, they would not care if someone died as long as they live. Someone that’s able to act in a call to action to help others, can be called a hero. In the Las Vegas shooting many heroes answered the call to show courage and selflessness. These are what you would call “Heroes”.

Also Being a hero is a choice you don't have to do it. When you are a hero it takes training and it takes confidence, passion, strong skills and heroes are usually positive thinkers.Heros manages stress and heroes have good coping skills heros live by values.
