Like any other term in a language, it will inevitably change as society progresses. The word ‘hero’ was a term to constantly change as the world continued and grew quickly. More people started to relate to the word hero, or achieve a status high enough be considered a hero with their extraordinary achievements. A person who was considered a hero was expected to have no flaws, yet we all know no human is flawless. As the world advanced, ‘hero’ was slowly becoming old fashioned due to people in modern times not relating to the word, or not becoming a hero themselves.
