High School Goals

Next year, I will be attending Jonathan Law High School. When I am a freshman, there are a lot of things that I want to accomplish. Some of the goals I have are that I want to accomplish by the end of the year are: to be on the volleyball and softball team, and I want to make new friends. I also want to take some more difficult classes and pass them and join some clubs.

All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. On a personal level I would like to get better at basketball as well as baseball. In three years i see myself being a little bit more involved in technology and graphic design. Sooner or later like every kid I will turn 18 wich mean time for a job i'm going to go into it strong I think i am going to work at Old Navy. I hopefully will be able to stay in this job as long as possible to make as much money as I can. These goals are important to me because it will make me feel good as a person. It is a good start as a teen to make money. School has prepared me because I will pick the right classes to assist me in my career.

College is very different than high school. So many challenging homework and courses to participate in. That is why my three goals for my career are as follows: I want to receive my college diploma, get a better career path, and learn some new things. There are many things I have to do in order to achieve these goals. With hard work and dedication, I am ver confident I can do this.

My goals for next year, boy this is always a super tough question for me. My goals for next year is to make it through each semester and not give up and graduate next summer with my master’s degree. I believe the rest will just fall into place.

I describe myself as a hardworking and determined student. The school goals I have set for myself would be that I plan to graduate with a GPA status of above a 3.0 average and will perform outstandingly in the athletic department of my final high school year. Throughout the course of my high school career I have many goals I would like to pursue. One of those goals includes being accepted into both a two and a four-year college so I can hold a Bachelors degree in Science. When I do get accepted into the two and four-year colleges, I plan on working while attending school. Although this goal may be challenging, depending on my classes, I’m going to need a job to support myself. My GPA in college will maintain a 3.7. My field of study will consist of a Radiology program as well as an Ultrasound program to become a Radiology tech/Ultrasound tech. In high school and college, everyone is supposed to have goals. For those goals, you are supposed to have certain standards. Some standards are different from others. My goals are to the 9th grade, high school in general, and college. Avid, in general, has goals that they'd like us to follow.

My goals for this year are to do good in school. Plus I want to do a lot of sports this year. Also I want to get good grades so I can stay in school and stay in sports. I also want to make a lot of friends this year. I want to go to after school games and dances etc.

This summer I went to Boston for a month, I had the opportunity to go on a cruise that stopped in Cozumel, and I was able able to attend many weddings, so needless to say my summer was very eventful. I expect that this school year will also be very eventful because the extracurricular activities I’m involved in which are Softball, Student Council, HOSA, SNHS, and Beta Club. In my free time I mostly sleep, eat, or hang out with my friends. Currently, my short-term goals are to get through my junior year with above-average grades, and to work the hardest I have ever worked. My long-term goals are to go to college with a major, and career that I would enjoy in the future.

Have you ever wondered about how you’ll graduate high school? If you attend college, or go traveling around the world instead? I know I do, a lot. I especially think about what strengths I will need in order to take part in college and achieve my goal of being an architect. However, I can tell that my abilities of getting work done and learn new things quickly will lead me to graduating high school with a 4.0 grade point average and attending Stanford college which will let me access my dream job or becoming an architect. But before I can go to Stanford, I first have to work on my skills.

One thing I want to accomplish is graduating from high school. I want to get outstanding grades and want to have a bright future.
