Music has, for years on end, been able to express history in a roller coaster of emotions, from dark and scary to happy and joyous, music can do it all. Songs, throughout generations, have also been able to address the most delicate of circumstances going on throughout the world. Even on a more individual level, music has the power to help people get through the most difficult of times by providing almost indescribably accurate, relatable lyrics for a person to just latch on to. Lyrics and melodies also have the ability to cause memories from past events in one's life to come over them in an overwhelming fashion. There is certainly and undoubtedly magic in the music, and music has definitely been a force to be reckoned with in my life, as well.

Hollywood was established in 1853, originally as a single hut, right outside of Los Angeles, California. It was first created under the name Hollywoodland, which was the site of a new housing development district. Over time, the area quickly developed and began to draw the attention of studios. Since most of the movie making patents were owned by Thomas Edison’s Motion Picture Company, in the 1900’s, film makers began to move to the Los Angeles, area in order to avoid the many lawsuits brought on by the Edison Company. By 1948, at the end of the silent film era, Hollywood movie studios controlled which films were shown across the country. Veronica Sawyer, who’s the main character, tries and becomes friends with the popular girls in school. Her friendship with them does come at a cost. She sacrifices the one friendship she had with her nerd friend to be seen as popular. During this pursuit for popularity, One of the masks that many people use in real life to disguise how they really are was shown. One of the main ways that it was shown was that when Veronica became friends with the Heathers, her wardrobe was changed to resemble being one of them. Her jacket and skirt were blue, but in the same fashion as the Heathers’. This was the first change that happened, because she still acted similar to how she first was introduced. It wasn't till later when the change in her own personality was seen was seen. The next mask that Veronica put on was part of the play’s Sounds. Her behavior and how she talk completely turned around as soon as the party scene was approaching. Prior to the party, the Heather's persuaded Veronica to make a forged letter to her former friend Martha. This letter included a love note from the Martha’s crush, who was an athlete, telling her to come to his party. The reason why this letter was mean, was because as soon as the nerd would get to the party, the Heather's would just make fun of her in front of everyone. The fact that
