High school is your best and worst years of your life. The scariest part of it is that you are in a school for four years and that may not feel long but trust me it is, also you are in a school full of kids that are two-five years older than you. That can be even more scary. But you always have the best time of your life. I remember when it was my summer going into my freshman year, I was so scared but at some time so excited, I was ready for all the Friday night lights(football games), hoco, mums, and most of all new friends. High school is not easy to get through but it's so much fun. Going into Timber Creek I was a soccer player, a cheerleader. So I made new friends from those teams, so I know it was gonna be a great year. When school started it was easy but I had a hard time …show more content…
That's where I messed up because at my school we have A days and B days so everyday I have different classes so the work comes fast in, so I got real behind real quick. That made me fail one of my classes the first semester of high school. So when everyone was having fun in the summer I was stuck at summer school because I wanted to go and have fun with my friends and never get my stuff done. So it really backfired on me, that was not good at all. So from me to you get your stuff done, have fun but do your work. You will always feel like school doesn't matter but education matters so much, it changes the world it shows us what has happened in this world so it doesn't get respected. Once someone named.” Malcolm X” said “Education is a passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”. Educating our generation is the most important because we feel like high school is all for fun and partying and going to the football games but it's so much more than that and we don't think that at all. High school is scary, it is fun, it's crazy, it's hard, but it's the time of your
If Middle Football is Going to Last People Need to Get Their Head in the Game.
Junior High is a scary thought. You are little and going to school with the big kids. It wasn’t to bad after I got used to it.
My little cousin, Ella Jane, is in the stages of transitioning into middle school. A “skill” that I have recently mastered. A process that no one knew could be so challenging. That’s why I want to help correctly guide her down the path of priorities, extracurriculars, and friendships.
I am a student who has a passion for helping others. I have been a part of a couple of clubs and organizations in and out of school which focus on helping out the community. There is one in which I have been involved in for four years. I started of as a club member and in the beginning of my third year I was chosen to be the president. Through this club I have had the opportunity to lead a group of students through a pathway of success. I have been able to encourage members to pursue a higher education, and help out their community. We have all been able to work together in several occasions. I have been able to get them to participate in soup kitchens, concession stands during football games, and helping out in the elderly home. Last year our club was able to collaborate with the autism club, and together we helped create a garden.
My life has been a test since I turned into an online student. Every day I am currently battling to adjust coming home from being at work all night, my life and my school work are hard to balance. With every one of these obligations, my work night is full, and I regularly don't have time to take a break before it is 7:30 am and start my drive home.
Being one of the 12 kids that are LDS in my over 3,000 student school has been an interesting aspect of my life. For the past four years, questions like “ Does your Dad have multiple wives?” or “ Woah, you aren’t a cult?” have been surprisingly pretty easy for me to explain and answer. The nervousness and feeling of being scared about what someone might say or think has never been a problem throughout my four years of high school. Although I am able to successfully talk about my religion, the struggle to do so was very evident during my middle school years.

My parents have said to work hard and do my best in school. I never understood why until I got older. The reason they told me to do my best in school was because they wanted me to think about school and my future. Both of my parents didn't get the chance to go to college. They both came to the United States looking for what most people come to the United States for ‘The American Dream’. They wanted a place where they could raise their children and find a stable job. Well what they had planned didn't work out. They found physically demanding jobs with low wages. I watched as they came home tired and stressed. Even through all the hardships they still maintained a positive attitude. They have pushed me to get better grades and to succeed in school.
My 8th-grade year was mediocre. I had some challenges in 8th grade. Not only, I had some pleasant times. My 8th-grade year wasn’t my best year, but it wasn’t the worst. I had some struggles with some teacher and friends. But, through all the drama it was an average year.
First of all, middle school students part-time job meeting and learning conflict, thus affecting learning. If we go to work after school and vacation, there will be no time to attend to study, so students will learn less time. Besides, middle school students are easily confused by the material society, which will lead to the wrong idea of making money in the first place, which will lead to academic neglect. This is for the middle school students, it is to pick up the sesame and lost the watermelon!
So it’s the start of senior year, and I got this assignment to write a High School Letter to myself. My first 3 years of high school were anything but “normal”. Still, the experience I’ve had and continue to have were very fun.
The Common School was established as an institution to help the elementary education in all aspects, as reading, writing, and arithmetic. In fact, the common school movement established the normal school as teacher-preparation institution, and elementary school of teaching for women. However, the common school was opened for all social level classes, and they focused more in a civic education. What this meant was the people were involved in their own self-government. Furthermore, the common school was divided in three part legislative stages. Permissive, encouraging, and compulsory, where the permissive stages were in charge of the organization for each single local school district. This encouraged a way to keep in charge of the election
Life has struggles, but struggles produced growth and transformation. Throughout my high school years, I faced challenges to juggle between schoolwork and various kinds of activities and commitments. It has not only caused me to stumble, but it also made a positive impact in my life.
Every year many high school seniors graduate and most of them go to college to continue their education. At their age they are already given so many responsibilities under the law and some would even say that they are already considered as adults. There are some high school seniors that are already working at this age while going to school at the same time. Some students take honors, advance placement, and college classes to help them in college. But there are some that still gets in trouble and still come in late for school. So what makes someone adult? Is it some kind of biological phenomenon or some kind of psychological phenomenon that constitutes whether someone is considered an adult? A high school senior has a lot of ups and downs characteristics that makes it difficult to decide whether they really fit the definition of an adult.
My faith had never waivered with God until the day I tore my ACL. I thought it all was going perfectly, my freshman year of high school. The most crucial year to set the social barrier, and the chance to establish a solidified reputation. My year was aligning so perfectly, you would almost think that destiny had mapped out my entire high school life. As a teenager, you never think of the bad things happening to you that you see on television. You never think of those what-ifs or aftermaths that could possibly occur, and change your life for the good or the worse. Though, that day, that day I tore my anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), I did think the possibility of never playing basketball again.
