PURPOSE
Our purpose in life is to serve God. Jesus gave us the Great Commission at the end of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Matthew 28: 16-20 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
In The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren writes that “our first purpose in life is to:
Worship, to know and love God;
Fellowship, learning how to love;
Growing into spiritual maturity, becoming like Christ, discipleship;

Paul told Timothy, “Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.” 2 Timothy 2:7
“God works through different men in different ways, but it is the same God who achieves his purposes through them all.”
1 CORINTHIANS 12:6
“We are God 's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Eph. 2:10 “Your hands shaped me and made me.” Job 10:8
God equips us with Spiritual gifts, a heart, abilities, personality and experiences to help others. “Each one should use whatever gift he’s received to serve others.” 1 Peter 4:10 Jesus: “Your attitude must be like My own, for I did not come to be served, but to serve...” Matthew 20:28
Serving Jesus means being available.
“Two blind men... shouted, ‘Lord, have mercy on us!’ ... Jesus stopped and called them. ‘What do you want Me to do for you?’ He asked.” Matthew 20:30-32 “Never tell your neighbors to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now.” Proverbs 3:28
“Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.” Philippians 2:4
“No servant can serve two masters... You cannot serve both God and money.” Luke 16:13
Serving Jesus means being grateful.
“Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew You always hear Me, but I said this for the benefit of the people
