Through the years Agatha Christie has written many best selling novels. The Murder on the Orient Express is not shy of greatness. It is one of the best selling murder mysteries in history. The book truly is wonderful and keeps you guessing the whole time. Part of the reason it is so great is because the novel is influenced by Agatha's life and also the lives of many others, making it spectacular and unique. Throughout the the life of Agatha Christie, imaginary friends, famous authors, and world travels have all influenced her writing.

The first example of the influence of her travels would be when Agatha was fifteen, her mom decided to place her in a school that was located in France (By her late teens [1]), at school she learned to speak French, this helped her chose her Belgian, French speaker detective Poirot. Her third book Murder on the Links was also set in France. One of the main travels that affected her writing would after the divorce from her husband Archie, she traveled on a train named The Orient Express to Baghdad and she also spent a long period of time in the Middle East. The trip to Baghdad inspired the Book called The Murder on the Orient Express. Her trip to the Middle East inspired many books including

Murder in Mesopotamia and also Death on the Nile. These are just some of many of the world travels that have all affected her writing.
Throughout the the life of Agatha Christie, imaginary friends, famous authors, and world travels have all influenced her writing. Where the imaginary friends of Agatha helped shape the characters in her books, the famous authors have helped Christie create her books and give her ideas to write about, and her world travels have helped her come up with the setting of many of her books and also the language of which her characters speak. All in all, without imaginery friends, famous authors, and world travels Agatha's writing probably would still be good, but not quite as great as
