How Did Chinese Culture Influence The Wu Wang Dynasty

The Great Wall was first build by Qin and Han.The reason why they build the wall is because to keep the enemies away like The Mongols.However, the benefits of the Great Wall of China did not outweigh the costs.

China has changed in certain ways and remained the same in others from the early Golden Ages to the late 1900s. China has experienced a series of cultural and political transformations, shaping the lives of many Chinese citizens. Culturally, the country’s art and literature hardly changed for almost eight hundred years. Along with their culture, China remained politically the same from the beginning of the Golden Ages all the way until the 1800s. On the other hand, China’s government and society were restructured after new leaders took over. From a monarch to total communism, China’s society had a multitude of new ideas and policies they had to adapt to.

Chinese Civilizations contributed massively to the development for future civilizations. Confucius developed a philosophy in which he explained how people should be live their lives. This philosophy teaches people that they should accept his/her role in society. Studying Confucianism is a very important for Chinese citizens. Chinese citizens have to take a “civil service” exams and the exam scores will determine whether or not they will get a good paying job (Doc 5).   In 221 BCE the Qin Dynasty build several roads, palaces, and other architecture, they also build a wall, not just any wall a colossal wall that could surround far more than a city.  After a while they were overthrown by the Han dynasty,  they fell into Qin’s footprints, and build a wall to keep the Xiongnu (mongols)out.   The recipe for the perfect wall called for a frame that was 30’ long, 25’ wide and 20’ high, use dirt that was 6”-8” ft.

The Great Wall of China was originally built during the Qin and Han Dynasties to protect China from the Xiongnu. It took the people of ancient China nearly 2,000 years to build and spans nearly 6,000 miles. However, building the wall was extremely costly in terms of men and supplies. Despite the cost of the wall, it proved to be immensely beneficial to the Chinese people. This is a result of the wall providing protection for merchants, the people within the wall and preventing the Xiongnu from invading.

The time needed to complete the Great Wall is much longer than that used to build the pyramids.

Even though the Great Wall had been started earlier most of what is seen was either built or repaired by the Ming. The brick and granite works were enlarged, and this was a symbol of strength and stabling which was very necessary to a successful empire. The watchtowers were also designed and cannons were placed along the wall.

Chinese culture is truly one of the great civilization our world has come across. It boasts a vast geographic expanse, over 4000 years of written history, as well as a rich and profound traditional society. Many aspects of Chinese civilization can be traced back many centuries. It is so diverse and unique, yet harmoniously blended, and presents itself a priceless benefit to the world.

China has about five thousand years history which is a very long period of time. Also, the Chinese civilization was growing with these periods of time and it will continues greater than ever. Many wars and unhappinesses were happening during this period. Although, the time has passed, the histories and the civilizations have not passed. These family virtues, serious, working attitudes, sense of justice and the great Confucian tradition have been deeply assimilated into the Chinese people. Some Chinese traditions are different from North American’s. The Chinese culture has many special characteristics which are very interesting for people to learn.
