The American Revolution had a significant impact on many aspects of life. Not only did it affect different race like the African American slaves and gave them opportunities to escape their slave life and join the arm or reach freedom. It also gave new light to women and questioned all social relations. It too had affected the social class, creating a challenge of the economy. It had improved the lives of some by creating opportunities in the economy but left others hurting. Those who could not profit from war had to then work harder and struggle with rising prices. African American slaves had the slightest chance to obtaining their freedom prior to the revolution but immediately realized that the Revolution offered new hope, and opportunity for that freedom. With the idea of believing the principle that all people are created equal, and deserve equal rights made opportunities that helped thousands of slaves claim their freedom. Simply put all Indians were losers at the end of the war. The Americans were land hungry and took over lands beyond the Appalachians. Both sides of the war also started to recruit indians and within a few years were drawn into the struggle. The Indians usually favored the British side because they could provide the presents that assisted in alliances, also the Indians feared Americans moving into their land. Because they favored the British Washington ordered “the total destruction and devastation of the Iroquois settlements.” At the end of the war Indians were amazed even thou they had won victories on the frontier they learned that the British had surrendered and given all of the Indians land to the Americans. The American Revolution changed the political and social aspects of the United States. After the war ended many things changed in the states. From the political stand point women still had power but gained a few rights after the war and since the states where now free from British rule they could now create their own form of central government and elected a leader. On the social and economical side the belief of egalitarianism was widely being accepted, and mercantilism ended so the colonies were no longer forced from imported and export goods to England.
The American Revolution fundamentally changed American considerably politically because Americans rely on democracy rather than monarchy, socially because the roles of certain social groups experienced a nuance change, and economically because the Americans freed themselves from having to send their raw materials to England and started to manufacture their own products.
The American Revolution was an important sequence of events over a period of time that has affected early American society up to today’s modern society. It all started with the Revolutionary War, which led to the Declaration of Independence from Britain, and in turn created a reason for America to write the Constitution and develop their own government. Ideas of equality became a major point of the Revolution, and although it wasn’t very quick to happen, ideas eventually spread throughout the colonies, giving the equality that poor to middle classes, African American slaves, and women deserved.
This made the Indians rebel against the whites even more. The Indians was asked to move to an off reservation this resulted into violence. The years to come was called the Indian wars.

The American Revolution was when the Americans finally gained their independence from Great Britain and the Native Americans felt left out of the independence that the Indians thought was deserved for the Indians (Doc. The French treated the Native Americans with respect and as allies. They had traded theirs good and worked together when help was needed. The British was not so kind to the Native Americans causing a dislike for the British. The British did not like that a female was in charge and should not be in control causing more tension between the two groups. The lives of the American Indians were drastically changed after the war. Due to many diseases and their land being taken. They only got what was to spare, not what they had originally established.
The American Revolution set the ground work for a major change in the New England colonies. It was a time of significant governmental changes on political and social levels, and a growing ideology on the obedience of a women and the dissolution of slavery.
The American Revolution was the point of change in the world. It was the first time that a democratic government was developed and tested in a time where monarchies ruled Europe and it was the time when the world saw that the concept of democracy could lead to the fundamental change in society, specifically politically, socially, and economically. However, even though it was the point in change for the world, to what extent did it change American society politically, socially, and economically in the period between 1775-1800? The answer is that political, social, and economic effects of the American Revolution impacted society to different extents and established ideas that would later influence future movements and changes in America.
Before the arrival of white people to the continent, Native Americans still engaged in war between the various different tribes. Their reasons for fighting each other were drastically different than the reasons they had when fighting non-Indians. Some Native American battles were fought for revenge. The most common cause of war between Native American groups was probably to defend or enlarge tribal territory. Later, their conflicts with white people were fought for trying to prevent the theft of their land, or in raids for food and supplies they were denied. There have been many famous clashes between Indians and the United States government. On November 4th 1791, In what is considered the worst ever defeat administered by Indians to U. S. troops more than 600 soldiers were killed by a force of mostly Shawnees and other Indians. The cause of the conflict was settlers moving into the Indian’s land in large numbers, ignoring Indians rights and demanding military protection if the Indians opposed them. This kind of situation was the cause for many of the largest fights with Native Americans, for example the battle of little big horn (otherwise known as Custer’s last stand) in which Indians that were ready for the arrival of the Calvary killed every soldier under General Custer’s command. The first result of the war was that Indians could no longer avoid American expansion to the western side of the country. General William Henry Harrison defeated Tecumseh’s Indians—and even Tecumseh himself—in the Battle of the Thames. General Andrew Jackson pursued Creek Indians in the Battle of Horseshoe Bend—this victory put a temporary pause on Indian conflicts. However, the Indians were abandoned by their former British allies, and were virtually forced to surrender most of their land to the U.S. Government.

Most Americans today, when asked how they feel about liberty and freedom, will tell you something along those lines. Without the American Revolution, America as we know it would not exist. The revolution was an incredible journey that changed our nation; the Sons of Liberty can be credited with setting it into action.
