Good CSR means to me that a company is investing time and efforts in having a small carbon impact. A company with a good philanthropy is also an example of good CSR because community programs benefit from resources many large companies have. A good example of a company that practices good form of CSR is Ben and Jerry’s who uses only fair traded ingredients in their ice creams. A company with bad CSR is Walmart who has been accused of discrimination, environmental crimes among others. Walmart has a theory called the “Walmart phenomenon” where a new Walmart can virtually wipe out most mom and pop stores in a city.

Many people believe that the future of Wal-Mart is sustainability. Wal-Mart Stakeholders are the associates, otherwise known as employees, the suppliers, and the investors of this company. I believe that Wal-Mart is doing enough to become more sustainable both locally and globally by the resources, its key stakeholders.

Now, Walmart was a bit different. Upon entering the store I saw the the fresh produce was packed and that made me want to go back because I at least got one store. Instead of going directly to the fresh produce section I went to the isles, but those were packed as well. I tell my brother in law that let's go wait in the car and we did. Twenty minutes later we come back and the store was even more packed, I got mad at this point. I decided to go ahead and take the pictures because my grade is on the line. I honestly hate the way the produce section is laid out in walmart because the prices are so small and the item is right below that. After analyzing the video on whether or not Jim's actions were ethical by not reporting the injury incident, I would have to imply that his dilemma was not only morally unethical, but lawfully unethical as well. By utilizing the deontology model that states to uphold certain underlying principles whether right or wrong and regardless of the circumstances, it is clear this ethical stand-point of "rule-based" approaches has been breached and a company's standard operating procedures were not met.
