Impact of Life Experiences on Development The purpose of this paper is to introduce significant life events from birth to present. The events in my timeline will describe life events in age related, history, and non normative. Nonetheless it will further explain how these events impacted my development cognitively, psychologically, and socially. The events in my life influenced an overall positive change in my development of my identity currently in my present lifespan.
Influences on my Identity Development

My lifespan was no longer as teenager or a young adult. I was employed, going to college and living on my own in an apartment, my lifespan had matured in to adulthood, into which I met a man got engaged and later became a mother This transition at 20 years of age impacted my life greatly because I no longer, was responsible for myself by another human being was dependent upon me. It was my responsibility to teach them the necessary things need in life to grow and thrive in society, academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. In addition to becoming a mother I was also married, therefore this event of becoming a wife was an additional role to motherhood that would shape my identity and responsibilities of who I had to become. The event of marriage and childbirth, made me feel older and more mature. It made me feel I had to become more responsible, and had a greater sense of expectations from others that I had to achieve at this point in my life.
Now I am currently in a middle age part of my life experience “empty nest syndrome.”
This phase of my life span is still shaping my identity. I am now more aware of the importance of self care and wellness. I know longer find reason or an excuse not to do something that will bring happiness to me, and learning to appreciate life more so
