Those inspiring words of the first man on the moon sure have made their mark in history. Not only did Apollo 11, the first successful mission in landing man on the moon, affect future space discovery, it impacted the world, by helping people understand how much they can be capable. For those reasons , putting man on the moon was and still is a significant moment to this day for all people.

Jackie Robinson once said, “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives” (“Jackie”). Jackie Robinson was a major star athlete from the very beginning, always excelling in whatever he did, and his biggest achievement was breaking the color barrier of major league baseball. Robinson is an American Revolutionary Figure because he changed many things for African Americans while also inspiring others to further advance and make changes as well.

Some used the influence they gained to continue to relentlessly pursue whatever they first became famous for, while others used their influence to sway the minds of the public in other matters. There were those who bathed in the spotlight as well as those who hid from it. But one thing can be sure of, these people definitely left a lasting mark in history. One such person was Charles Lindbergh.

Another man named Percy Spencer discovered how to get chocolate out of your pants and a new way to cook. Percy took the chance to make mistakes. He was brave enough to take chances and risk failing. I feel like every person should be brave. You will always fail if u don't try.

For Columbus, there was a chance that he would get misdirected by the weather and die. However, he persevered amongst all challenges and carried on to show the gratitude the Spanish Monarchy had in him. The Spaniards had faith in Columbus to find a new route to Asia, however he ended up discovering the New World. Meriwether Lewis was a very famous man in history and will all ways be remembered for his courageous things he did in his life. And the expeditions that he and Clark went on as a team. Meriwether Lewis is still one of the most famous men in the world because no one knows what really happened to him. Historians will never be happy until the truth is uncovered and the whole world knows what really happen to one of the world’s greatest men that ever lived.

Alan B. Shepard was a man who was very influential in the U.S. space race, and in science in general. According to NASA, Shepard became the first American in space in 1961. This was a major step towards getting a man on the moon. Shepard made a second trip into space in 1971, and this time landed on the moon. To me, Alan Shepard is someone that I look up to, not just of his accomplishments, but because he ventured out into the unknown, by himself just for the knowledge of man. He was the first of many astronauts to go to space through the NASA program, and he couldn't have known if it was safe to travel through space. What he did was never done before, and it could be very dangerous. That takes bravery to do something if you aren't sure

Christopher Columbus and Charles Lindbergh had a journey, very different but also very similar. They created a near impossible task and went forward until they completed the task. These two men changed history by following their dreams putting their names in the history books. These two men have done great thing although they are similar, yet different. Christopher accomplished his goal 400 years before Charles did.

Charles Lindbergh had a great impact on the 1920’s. Lindbergh had some challenges in his bat, but he fought through them. He had the first solo flight across the Atlantic. Lindbergh has such a great impact during the twenties him flying across the Atlantic made it to where people were able to fly across the world.

Jonathan Edwards had finally helped us in realizing that there was not just a Heaven but yet the opposite and it is called “Hell”. Not everyone was always allowed the chance to go straight to Heaven which is now explained many times in Christian and Catholic religion. Defining how ever since Edwards first even mentioned this to the public it had still been explained and talked about till now. Creating a big impact on everyone around especially in churches.

Charles A. Lindbergh was one of the greatest men in aviation history. Lindbergh was always an very out going person. He believed that he was always doing what was best for aviation no matter who he insulted or who he went against. He was a brave man that would often push the limits of his body, technology, and his planes. His goal was to advance aviation. This man did what ever it took because he believed in something greater than himself.

“Exploration is wired in our brains. If we can see the horizon, we want to see what’s beyond.” One of Buzz Aldrin’s famous quotes. Buzz Aldrin was an engineer, pilot, and an astronaut. He was the second man to walk on the moon and was a brilliant man. When he walked on the moon it affected the world by giving scientists more ways to explore space. Finally it is important because when we walked on the moon it opened a whole world to us.
