1. Sporting events: Sports fans will never be bored in Denver, as it is home to seven professional sports teams including soccer, lacrosse and rugby. Attending a Colorado Rockies game is a great way to spend a weekend afternoon, and Coors Field is one of the nicest baseball parks I have seen. Of all the sporting events in Denver, going to a Denver Broncos game is the place to be on a Sunday. There is almost always a sporting event to attend, and at times there can be three

Colorado, known for the Rocky Mountains, is a gorgeous place to be. The wildlife filled rectangular state covers 104,185 square miles. In the black timber, it is dark and silent, not a sound to be heard. The pine trees are so thick it blocks most of the sunlight from entering, only to see about seventy-five yards in front of myself. The terrain is rough and almost straight up and down, but the elk love it because it is a challenge for hunters to see them. As I walk my favorite ridgeline in the black timber, I watch for the slightest movement and listen for the smallest crack. Watching thirteen-lined ground squirrels run around and chase each other can be humorous sometimes to watch them fall down from the trees. I wait patiently for the chance
Colorado is a beautiful and historical state; the wide open plains, the glorious tall mountains, the history of its people that have shaped Colorado into what it is today. There is a lot to explore and learn when it comes to the Centennial State. Because of its history, Colorado is considered to be the meeting ground amongst three sections in the American West; the Atlantic Coast and Mississippi Valley, North and South, and Massachusetts and Virginia. These sections have shaped and developed the settlement and region in their own special ways.
On a map, Colorado is an almost perfect rectangle. With an area of 104,091 square miles, it ranks eighth among states in size. Colorado is located in the Central Time Zone of the United States. Also known as Mountain Time Zone, it’s clock runs an hour later that the Eastern Standard Time Zone and one hour ahead of the Pacific Standard Time

12 years, 2040 days, 16,320 hours, 979,200 minutes, this is the amount of time American students spend on the first step of an education (K-12). After spending this massive amount of time in school you would think that students are leaving with a good education, right? But the sad reality of it is that American high school students graduate with a mostly irrelevant education and it is crippling them in the real world. I am a student at Denver south high school in Colorado, so I have been able to witness this issue first hand. Although Denver south has an impressive level of diversity of different ethnicities, cultures and ideals that adds a lot to the experience of a high school education, our curriculum is still far from what is should be. I 've witnessed students sitting at desks sleeping, playing on there phones or doing something completely different from what the class is doing, not saying that I do the same thing. Being a senior I was required to take a civics class, this class consists of mostly lectures that rarely interact with the class, for me this class is a study hall where I finish homework assignments and where I finished the majority of my college application I was able to do all of this while still maintaining a A, isn 't their a problem with this? The majority of teachers, and parents think that this is the student 's fault for not being motivated to learn and to resist boredom, on the contrary I
A museum is the best place to find historical, artistic and scientific objects exhibited for the public. Washington DC offers to his public a lot of museum especially the African American museum. It is particular first because of the attraction from distance of his unique beautiful design and huge size of the building. Also, it was recently opened and it is located in the National Mall and close to different monuments. It includes several exhibitions and the dress of ROSA PARK sewn by her captivated my attention.
If you want to live where the action is, look no further than these adjacent neighborhoods. City Park is named after the 330-acre park that spans the majority of the community. Located a mile from Downtown Denver, it's home to the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. But that's not all. You can see a movie at the IMAX Theater, or, on a warm day, enjoy the tennis courts, baseball, soccer, and football fields
Before I went to the museum, my prospective about a museum was poor expectations. What can a museum will offer? , this was one of the questions that I always had in mind. For these reasons, I never thought that I could enjoy a museum tour. However, everything change after visited the Phoenix Art Museum. I went to the trip with poor expectations, but since I arrived in the lobby with all of my classmates and the professor. I started feel that this trip will be sash an educational experience.
Las Vegas is such a great place to live because of the superb weather. Las Vegas has a typical desert climate, with hot summers, mild winters, year long sunshine and very little rainfall. Some may complain that it is too hot to live in Las Vegas over the summer. The high temperatures in the months of July and August normally exceed one hundred degrees, but as my Las Vegas local Daniel Rogalski can tell you, it's really not that bad: "Las Vegas is hot over the summer, but it's not that bad. We have very little humidity and I would much rather be in Las Vegas when it is one hundred and five degrees than be in Florida with high humidity when it is
We all know the big city that everyone loves to talk about and be a part of the experience of a lifetime which is Los Angeles, also known as L.A. It is one of the most known cities in California and around the world where people’s dreams come true. L.A. is best known for its beaches, entertainment, amusements, and the people around the city. It’s also known as “The City of Angels”, which is the spanish word for “Angeles”. It is the second most populous city in the United States after New York. I’ve always known L.A. as a big part of my life, being born in the city of luxury and fame. Growing up, I never knew how much of a big deal LA was until I was in high school. Being around so much popularity and seeing the opportunities that LA has brought to people was amazing to me. From the sports games, to the concerts, to the famous celebrities walking the red carpets brung so much excitement to me and I was glad to experience all of it.
Los Angeles was the first product off the assembly line of American urban planning. Turned on in the late 19th century, the city-making machine was fueled by an immense immigration of people who sought to create a new type of city out of the previously quaint pueblo. They also strove to craft the first major city developed primarily by Americans and outside of European archetypes. As a result, Los Angles is not only incredibly diverse, but also nearly impossible to define. Since it is a product of the American machine, understanding the community of Los Angeles becomes vital to understanding the United States. But to fully comprehend the present Los Angeles, one must look at the process that created it. Specifically, Los Angeles was
The Smithsonian is known for its realization and absolute beauty shown in the exhibits. Every exhibit of this museum has great detail and precision. Not only was each exhibit filled with things of its nature, but also had the right colors to make you feel the exhibit. For example, the vibes flowing from the ocean hall were incredible. The way they accomplished the feel of actually being in the ocean was a surreal experience to even see through the screen. I also liked the way that everything was pretty close to life scale, like the huge whale hanging from the

A greater number of educators are looking to museums to help them attain their educational objectives. Howard Gardner has identified Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood as the perfect environment for stimulating the natural curiosity of a child. Furthermore, in response to demands for new educational approaches, older children are using museums to develop their critical facilities in art and design (Campbell, 1992).
