Introduction Over the course of the past few weeks, this course has enabled me to put to practice some of the basics of mentoring in a practical setting. In this case paper, I will document the final coaching session between my co-worker and myself. As always, before getting started I worked on a pre-coaching plan in order to lay the foundation for our meeting and help myself prepare for when I meet with my mentee. Next, I will discuss the facts of the coaching session and how well we were able to accomplish the goals of the meeting. Then the different successes and challenges will be mentioned as well as the lessons I learned from each. Finally, I will reflect on the areas of myself or my coaching style that need improvement and how I plan to implement those changes. First let’s take a look at what went in to developing the pre-coaching plan for this meeting.

Not only do I plan to do a little bit of a recap of the past sessions, but I also want to see if she wants to keep having meetings to discuss her career or not. With those things in mind some questions that I will ask will be centered around how she will move forward after the meeting, what are some things that could potentially change the plans and goals she has set forth, how will she overcome those obstacles if they become a reality and finally does she want to continue to meet and discuss her career and future. I would do this by stating that a compensation professional can be a full time employee that knows the company and what the company need, they can be cost effective, and there is a level of commitment. When discussing knowing a company, this also means knowing the customers and the competition. The compensation professional can learn who the customers are, what the needs are of the customer, and even why they actually buy or use the service. With the compensation professional being full time, the employee can do the research needed to find this information. They can also aid in the process of find the ends and out of the competition. In our modern age, employers know that salary is not the only factor that should be considered and that salary alone will not lead to better or more highly profitable workers alone. This is why compensation planning is important and why pay should have some connection between performance and compensation. This is why the human resources department should consider many monetary and non-monetary factors when considering how to properly compensate and motivate employees (Dessler, 2013).
I graduated high school back in 1994. I was engaged to be married in just two years, and even though I joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard right after graduation it was only one weekend a month and two weeks out of the year. So I needed a full-time job. A friend of the family knew a guy who was opening a second store, and was going to need a store manager. I took the job and got started. What I didn’t know was the guy I was just hired to work for was a little confused as to what he wanted. I hung onto the job for a little over a year hoping it would turn around but, no dice.
As of next week, we will require that all employees at Semper Absum take a mandatory one-hour lunch break away from their desks. After hiring an efficiency expert, we were informed that many employees were not taking a lunch-break and instead were using work time to attend to personal matters. Statistically, employees who do not take a lunch break tend to be less productive during the rest of the day.

This week’s lesson in forum 1 each onlinemate was to submit a thread in response to 5 questions after reading chapters 1 thru 3, plus show how a biblical worldview be applied. Also, according to the grading rubric for week 2 we are told to reply to 2 classmates’ threads. One of the thread I have chosen to give a reply to is Bernice Flores. I am a math major student. Since I am doing pretty well on math and joined the practice session for the Putnam competition when I was in my freshman year, I enrolled in Math Advanced Track program. In the advanced track program, I have access to all math honors courses and I can require to override math courses without meeting requirements. At the end of the first semester, I got a chance to work for a professor in the math department. This is my first formal research on mathematics, which makes me very exciting. Since I am good at Matlab, I am doing computer programming and started to learn SDP. SDP is the core algorithm in the research. In addition, I take 2 math honors courses per semester, plus taking Putnum session and have 2 clubs. I am the president of the MSU Aikido club and member of the MSU MMA club. And my GPA is 3.9 cumulatively.
Even though not everyone on the team completed their tasks by the due date time, but we all managed to complete this week assignment. Keyna did not to complete her assigned tasks on time because she did not receive all the materials she needed to complete her tasks. This is due to Rashaad having problem adding his document to Google Docs. We only communicate via emails; meeting was not set up for this project. We can't communicate effectively due to time zone limitations.
I really appreciate you clarifying this information for me. I do understand that there are rules in every organization that one must abide by, and I will remain compliant. Like you stated sometimes information written in black and white comes off as harsh however, in actuality it isn’t so bad. As a student of Memphis, I think that equality should be present now than it ever was in the past. But still, to this day, our economy has not been promoted into becoming equal. With some difficulties, we accomplished our tasks. As a group, we chose an answer. That is the 500k should be divided equally by 50k each. Although my group decided to split the budget equally. I, however, think that the budget should be split in a ranking of the most important job to least important. That meaning the important job gains more money than the least important. As an individual, I would distribute the budget to 3 qualities. The reason being a job qualification, skills, and the economic system which all play a role in society.
