The world’s climate is changing, and the effects of it will not only affect the inhabitants and the planet, but also humans. Everyone usually only pays attention to the weather on a weekly or even a monthly basis. However, humans don’t pay attention to the changes that they are causing. Very few people actually accept that they are the ones who are causing it and that they are also the ones that can help with the issue. It is time to take action on this problem that will only continue to cause horrible consequences and the only way to do that is having humans change their ways. Even starting with the smallest way can have a dramatic change if everyone is doing it.
The earth’s climate has been changing and will continue to do so in the future. It is only going to keep on getting worse and it is getting to the point where humans will most likely end up in a situation of life threatening diseases and even death. Contagious diseases are spreading menacingly due to weather extremes as heat wave, droughts, cyclones, floods, and tornados (Dhaka). That is just the start of the effect of climate change and its consequences. Many scientists have already warned that millions of people would die in this century because of climate change unless the major reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is made (Dhaka). However, there are more than just reducing greenhouse gas emissions to help solve for climate change. The main cause of climate change is greenhouse gases. However, the most
Climate change is a real problem facing our world with all of the progression of today’s society. The amount of Greenhouse Gas emissions has gone up drastically in the past one hundred years alone. The use of transportation, industry, electricity and the deprivation of the world's natural resources has increased the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere. The Environmental Protection Agency has shown an increase in the Earth's temperature by 0.8 degrees C in the past century alone. It is proven that humans are the cause of global warming but it is not too late to change how we are.
The debate about whether human activity or natural occurrences impacting climate changes has been plaguing scientists, politicians, and journalists across the globe for quite some time. People’s lifestyle must change if a positive effect is to be caused on the climate and recreate a safe environment. Changes such the reduction of burning less fossil fuels which reduces greenhouse gases, changes in public perception are needed to clean the environment.
Not everyone in the world has noticed that the climate has changed throughout the years. The negativity of climate alternation comes from pollution, weather, and temperature changes, which will endanger the earth. However, it’s possible that some people in the world are willing to help; people are trying to decrease the chances of climate modification from raising. Even though climate change is very bad for the earth and toward humans, no one can put an end to this problem due to several causes which will affect us. Three different outcomes that surround the topic climate change comes from our human activities, environment changes, and human health issues. These are the reasons why it causes climate changes to create negative effects on the earth.
It cannot be denied that humans are both the greatest contributors to climate change and the most affected by it. Approaching the issue of climate change from an anthropocentric lens breaks down the issue and makes it much easier to understand and combat. Given that climate change is our fault and our problem, it is clear that we are also the only ones who can reverse or mitigate its effects. Through personal actions, education, and institutional restructuring we can lessen the impact of climate change and find hope in the
Climate change. It has been on all of our minds as more and more controversy and panic are induced by new data being collected all the time. The very thought of it as the truth begins to fade into the foreground is enough to make many people sick. As this problem begins to take political forefronts, the question is, what are we going to do about it? Fortunately, public opinion and political concern as it has in the past and still does, has motivated individuals and even entire nations to take action against the upcoming threat. However, not all individuals are open to the truth of the existence and significance of climate change.
Climate change is a challenge facing our planet right now. Long-term effects may develop as a result, causing threats to natural resources, human health, and the economy. The concern is rising with the amount of carbon emissions and greenhouse gases in our delicate atmosphere.
Climate change already started long time ago, and it has been one of the greatest life threatening problem of all human beings and creations on earth. This change caused by us has brought a catastrophe to the world that was created by our God. “‘Growing population, intensified agricultural practices, increase in land use and deforestation, industrialization and associated energy use from fossil sources,’” has caused high greenhouse gas concentration. (O’Connor) This high greenhouse gas concentration has caused global warming, which led to animal extinctions, droughts causing famine, hunger,
Climate change is happening and it is happening quite rapidly all around the world. The earth is undoubtedly warming and over the past one hundred years, Earth’s average temperature has increased by about 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit. (EPA 1) The big problem with the average temperature rising is that it can have a negative effect on the planet and potentially have dramatic shifts in the global climate. According to the EPA, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, “Many places have seen changes in rainfall, resulting in more floods, droughts, or intense rain, as well as more frequent and severe heat waves. The planet's oceans and glaciers have also experienced some big changes - oceans are warming and becoming more acidic, ice caps are
There is no doubt that climate change is happening around the world. Climate change is occurring everywhere, but not everyone can see it. Some people fail to realize that climate change is happening because they aren’t aware of what it is. According to the Oxford Dictionary, it is “the change in global climate patterns are attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide.” Carbon dioxide is accumulating in the air, which captures the sun’s heat. In return, the earth is warming up. This epidemic is occurring globally, but it affects certain regions and cities differently. Therefore, climate change should be looked at from various scales.
Throughout the world right now, there are several huge events leaving families homeless, injured, passed away, or more. Many people don’t realize that this could’ve been prevented, and now many people are seeing the true harm and danger of climate change.
Climate change has been a growing problem over the past few decades, which is hurting our Earth, therefore, hurting humanity. With the help of big name companies lowering their emissions and developing and developed countries putting effort into helping the cause, it is possible to reduce the speed at which this global problem is happening. This is a real problem and it must be stopped. Countries all across the world, developed and developing alike, must carry the burden of mitigating climate change.
Climate change has been progressing as the years pass and Earth is rising in temperatures. Various things can cause the weather to increase or decrease in temperatures and pollution is one of the top reasons to change climate. It has become time, where people have to come to a decision to stop climate change or let climate change continue while having an increase in natural disasters. Climate change has become a real issue and the government needs to take steps to help prevent or reduce the change.
Through the decades’ people are seeing the effects on this planet that have been caused by climate change. But people are unaware that these weather patterns are abnormal, and need to be fixed before it is too late. There are major droughts, and record breaking high temperatures in places like California and in the Middle East while there are floods and hurricanes in Houston and Florida. The world seems like it is falling apart slowly, but some even wonder if there is enough evidence to prove that it is happening because of climate change, or global warming. Some people argue that it is just a hoax, and the earth is perfectly fine. However, it is a big coincidence that most people that say it is a hoax are gaining money by tearing down forests and polluting the air. The world population needs to be aware that some of the natural disasters happening are because of global warming. This planet’s climate and environment has been deteriorating, and it is not a coincidence that this is happening because of fracking, deforestation, and pollution. Some scientists believe it is too late to reverse the damage that we have done to Earth while some other scientists believe there is still a small window to at least slow down the effects that will happen. People are at fault for Earth’s climate change. It is crucial that the people try as much as they can to help stop climate change, so kids of the future do not have to live on an ugly and disastrous planet.
Climate change is now a reality which we human beings can ignore only at our own expense. The threat is looming ahead and if we do not actions in a timely manner it would not only have an impact on the current generation but also on the future generations to come.
One of the largest threats in this world that affects everyone living on planet Earth is climate change. It threatens society, the economy, and predominantly the environment. According to the IPCC, “Each of the last three decades has been successively warmer at the Earth’s surface than any preceding decade since 1850 (Voiland).” Future generations of mankind are put at risk because of problems we the present are creating. Climate change, the result of greenhouse gases thickening the atmosphere, challenges the environment by warming the climate, rising sea levels, jeopardizing human health, and possibly shattering the economy, but actions by the UN, different countries, and other organizations have initiated a new era of working towards ending a coming disaster.
