An intriguing speech event that I take part of in my daily life is at the place of my work; a restaurant in Old Town. Under the employ in the service industry, it’s a common knowledge among co-workers that speech patterns change when interacting with a customer. It becomes a running joke between co-workers, mimicking the heightened, sociable pitches and over friendly choices of words. As a waitress in a typical restaurant setting, the content of this unofficial speech event are the repeated cycles of satisfactory waiting; tone of voice, particular utterances, bodily positions we take in front of the tables we offer service to. Here, it is more relative to focus on the higher pitches that take over our voices and the recurring outgoing utterances
I'm so excited for you! It's your birthday! Yay! I wanted to surprise you a box of presents to put a big smile on your face and to show my appreciation for you and all you do. You're a terrific friend and a constant source of encouragement-not only to me-but to everyone you know! You bring so much joy to others, and you know how to make people smile and laugh. When you throw a party, you seek to make sure the needs of everyone are met and you'll plan little details to make to make sure everyone's having a good time. From creating your own made up game on New Year's Eve, to making Papa Murphy's pizza and some healthy snacks to go along with it, you put the cherry on top of the cake called hospitality. I've seen you grow so
Legacy: I would like to thank all of my family, friends, teachers, and coaches who have supported me throughout high school. I would like to Kip and Julie Johnson, my parents. Thank you for everything that you have done for me. No matter how hard I was on you guys, you never gave up on me. You always knew that I could do better and constantly encouraged me to do so. I would also like to say a special thanks to my girlfriend Bekka. You have always been there for me since the 9th grade when we started dating. You always helped me with any of my work that I had sturggled with. I appreciate you always telling me that I could do better, even though I was lazy. Thank you for always supporting me, love. I would next like to thank all my friends: Tyler, Hugo, Ed, Casey, Tristan, James,
Good morning Aphrodite. I may not have much to say, and I'm sorry for that, but the stuff I do have to say.. I hope it'll make you smile.
His eyes were glued to the remote dimple on the side of her cheek. It was his way of containing the boyish grin that illuminated his face when she spoke. He stared adoringly, until Jinora's hand found the top of his. Kai stepped forward and he took a fortifying breath.
“Good. I’m sending you an email. Look it over and email me any questions. Congratulations again, William. I’m proud of you.”
One of the speeches that caught my attention out of all the ones that were given was the roast speech. As this person was giving a speech to a friend the roasting was unique. She was roasting her friend with events that happened through their friendship, such as dances, relationship, and various situations. The roasting speech created moments of a good time while we listened.
Today when you get up in the morning you find that your body has been replaced with A GLITTERING IRIDESCENT MECHA SUIT ENCRUSTED WITH EVERY NICE MESSAGE YOU'VE EVER BEEN SENT.
This morning we had the honor to participate in the ceremony that commemorates a tragic day, not only for Americans, also for the rest of the world. I refer on 9/11. During our conversation, the president were thanked for our presence and moreover made us go over of happened that day, made us remember where we were, and essential part, made us reflect on our position as generation of relief. That day will be a day that the world never
Good Morning Haley aka Stephanie. I'm so grateful you've been my friend. I feel so comfortable around you and feel like I can talk to you aboit anything whether it's aliens saying aye lmao or your thoughts on religion. It just feels easy and comfortable. I know out friendship hasn't always been normal especially since I liked you in 8th grade which probably made it awkward and then we didn't talk for a while but anyways thanks for sticking with me and dealing with all my shit. I know I can be annoying and mean sometimes and I'm sorry you. You deserve a better friend but thanks for sticking with me anyways. Also stop being so hard on yourself, you always say that you'll never get a boyfriend or no one finds you attractive and it's just silly

I do remember Mr. Wilfredo Ramirez, he stayed with us for four nights and he was in room 101, and 343. He was giving rate for $35.99 because when he arrived he gave us story of his life how he lost his valet but he needed a place to stay and such, During his stay he literally robed another guest who was in room 106 Mr. Franko Rizza (who is still guest of ours) for $500.00 in cash as well as iPhone and an I pad.
Good evening friends, family, members of staff, and fellow graduates. I would like to thank everyone for taking your time to come here tonight and celebrating this achievement we have worked eighteen years for.
I also think it's a major advantage to not have to worry about what your parents think, because they chose the person for you. I've known about couples that don't get married because their parents just don't agree, either because their partner isn't the same religion or because of other differences.
