While we all love longhorns ourselves, there are shorthorns inside my heart. In Chun-cheon, a small town in South Korea, my father raises Hah-noo, which is a Korean-breed ox with short and thick horns. He has taken care of them for about 15 years for a living and I also sometimes helped him feed and breed them. They have been an important part of our family and so they are now. Thus, Bevos all around the campus always remind me of family with a strong impression for something good, familiarity, and my father’s sacrificing effort for my family. It is true that a professional and career-oriented curriculum and eminent professors in Stan Richards School affected my decision to take a long, but purposeful journey to 40 acres from South Korea.
