The sound of the burgers sizzling on the grill. The fire crackling. The waves crashing down like a building with TNT. Summer is like heaven for me, but no Jesus or God. I love the sound of the flying seagulls squawking everywhere on the beach except when they try to take my sandwich. Surfing the waves at Wildwood with my boogie board. Then the nightlife at the boardwalk, riding the rides and getting ice cream at Scoops. Our yearly vacation in Wildwood is why Summer is so Awesome! Another reason, I enjoy summer the most of all season is the beginning of my favorite sport, Football. We begin practicing in August, so I hang out with my friends almost everyday, for a few hours throughout the month of August. I really enjoy playing with my friends.

Rickwood Field is home to the Birmingham Barons which was established in 1885, but Rickwood was not built until 1910. Birmingham had closed the entire city's business for the opening of the park on August 18 1910. When the Barons first started they were called the coal barons and played in the Southern Association League. Many people went to these games because they had so much leisure time . With all this free time the people had they wanted to be away from city congestion and to be entertained, and nothing is better than an American Baseball game. Rickwood also held the negro league Black Barons who alternated weekends with the coal barons, and also brought thousands to watch. This is a good example of the social differences between whites
Summer by Josiah Conder , is describe as an a completely opposite Summer than the one everyone is familiar with. When thinking of the summer, thoughts of heat, vacation, and fun are usually associated with it. Conder describes the Summer as being a miserable time, where the skies are gray and gloomy. The sonnet itself is English/Shakespearean model which makes it easier for Conder to express different ideas in each quatrain but still relate them. Also Conder was a poet during the Romantic era where any feeling could be expressed towards anything. And that is what Conder does when describing the Summer. In the poem the speaker is having a conversation with no one , while they describe the Summer. Conder uses diction, imagery, alliteration and metaphor to help convey the idea that the Summer is not as fun and appealing.
July 26 2004 in Arlington Texas I was born. My parents Melvin and Maheshi Ruffin. My Dad born in Lake Charles , and my mom born in Sri Lanka. Growing up (1-3 years old) life wasn't like life was now we had a small house limited things so right now life was okay. I lived in a very strange neighborhood if I am remembering correctly, but when I say strange I'm talking about the people. In that neighborhood I don't remember the name so let's call it Cherrywood. The reason Cherrywood was so weird or strange was because of the people. The people in the neighborhood were so rude and strange when I at this I mean they would have Christmas decorations out in their lawn till summer, and if you were to offer to take them down they would snap at you so
After going down to Wildwood for the first time I fell in love. It turned out to be wonderful and relaxing. As soon as you arrive at the Wildwood you can instantly smell the fresh salt water in the warm air. You can feel the ocean breeze flow through your hair and down your spine. You can see all the families enjoying a great day together.
As humans, we are compelled to take risks, even when the privilege is unavailable. Without a proper role model in life, for example parents, being inept, we go out in daily life and venture, and with venturing risks are involved. This is what Zlatan Ibrahimović a world-famous soccer player, and Chris McCandless, the main character of Into the Wild, by Jon Krakauer went through in life, a proper role model was not present. The men in riding giants a documentary by Stacy Peralta, like Greg Noll, just left everything behind back at home to experiment with their lives by surfing. Nobody stopped any of them from going, because nobody cared enough. Getting out there every day in the water was a risk of losing their lives. Zlatan, Chris, and Greg
Summers are eternal. They are filled with limitless possibilities and freedom. Those heavenly months are the best times for bike rides, days at the beach, camp outs, and hang outs. Why then with all these other opportunities would I choose to stay indoors? The upcoming All State Band audition.

“A child’s life is like a piece of paper on which every person leaves a mark” by Robert Heinlein. This idea of being a blank slate is known as Tabula rasa presented by John Locke, a 16th-century philosopher. Moreover, when we are born, we are empty and have insufficient information stored in our brain, but as we get older, we gain information and so our piece of paper continuously is filling up (Barber 1). However, many other factors leave a mark and it is not just because of people. First, there is the nature aspect which involving the prominent gene in the parents. Physical attributes are passed down from the parents like eye color and color blindness. In addition, a major issue is what is the right way to raise
One thing that is not my favorite thing in the world is that when you are walking to beach and the sand is so hot you are jumping and running at the same time to get all of your chairs set up. But I love going to Florida and going to the beach. We are really lucky though, my grandma that goes with is used to live down there in Florida so we would go down all the time. But she lives up here now and we still try to go every chance we get.

Loving Morrie Schwartz has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever gotten to do in my entire life. To begin, he was an extraordinary man. Morrie truly had a heart that was flooding with love, and a brain overflowing with wisdom. Nonetheless, all that we had done during our time together while growing more, and more in love everyday it is hard to imagine a world without his physical being present. In fact, I would be lying if I said I was going to be okay without Morrie around, or even that it would be easy to adjust to life without him. To say the least, I love him with my whole heart and without him part of me is gone. However, my husband always said, without love life has no meaning, and did he ever bring meaning to life. Inlight of his opinions on love
My first reason on why I am at summer school is that , I didn’t put enough effort into doing my classwork and homework as well as not putting enough effort into doing the makeup work. Laziness was a major contributor to this situation. I plan on changing this by focusing on school when I am at school and save
I think we all have a beautiful place in our mind. Somewhere where we can go and get away from our everyday life. A place where we can just go and have a good time and forget about everything we left behind. That place for me is Assateague Island, Maryland. I have only been to Assateague Island two or three times but I for sure would love to go down again, sometime soon. The experience that I had down there was amazing.
Summer, oh the best season ever, the delightful shining sun looking so happy trying to spread his positive sun rays , the perfectly colored green trees presuming their new leaves by shaking from one side to another, colorful fairy flowers dancing with the bees wearing that magnificents and unique petal dress, everything sounds like a fairy tale dream and to do it better our privileged God get us away from our everyday routine. My parents joined to do bunch of family activities in this essential season, it’s to keep our small family lovely attached, and the favorite hobby that I think we enjoy the most is go biking, because in this pastime we are more together and the places we go makes us feel like our lovely and missing home, all nature and family attached make me remember the old neighbour we used to lived in my city .
