Everybody and everything is very important to me and belong in my perfect world. Whenever my dad and I are at the house, we like to go and ride our bikes throughout our community. We will adventure around the neighborhood and try to go as far as we can. My mom and I love to go to Disney. Her and I will race into Disney World to see who can get to Mickey Mouse first. We try to find as many characters to take our pictures with so we have awesome memories. With my grandma being in Florida and close to us, we will go and visit her a lot. We will end up going on boat rides spotting all the dolphins and seeing all the different birds. A couple of times a year we will go and see my grandpa in Indiana. He will take us to the Johnny Appleseed
A defining moment is a point at which a situation is clearly seen to start a change. Defining moments can happen at any point in one's life. In class we read multiple of stories with different defining moments. The two that stuck out to me were “ I Want to Be Miss America” and “Here’s Herbie”.
Every family event, it always ended up at my grandmother’s home. I feel as though my grandmother did an amazing job at hosting the family gatherings. She is great at keeping the family so tight. We all come together because of her, ad I hope our generations of family members will keep that alive. With that being said I cherish every moment that was held in that house, all my memories are there.
I try my best to be the best dad and husband possible. My family is the most important aspect of my life. They are the reason that I try to be a better person every day, because they deserve the most of what I can offer. Before, responsibility wasn't something that was a priority in my life,
Disney World—the greatest place on earth. A place that anyone of age can have fun. According to the official webpage of Disney World, “the unforgettable happens [t]here”. Along with the opinions of many kids, teens, and adults, I agree that it is the greatest place on earth. The magical story book setting brings back the childhood nostalgia every American has felt in their life at least one time. However America is the only country to preserve the innocence from our childhood. But why? Why does America try so hard to protect our childhood innocence from the harsher reality?
Go to the river and hang out with my friends, but I’m really family oriented.
My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
While I was a kid my family and I used to go on bike rides all the time to anywhere you could think of. We would go boating everyday in the summer. We would ski, wakeboard, go tubing and many more. Go tubing was one of the funniest memories I have boating because the thrill you get is unbeatable trying to hold on for dear life. Anothering thing we did as a family was go on vacation everywhere. The road trips were always fun because we would bring our dog turbo. The one trip that will never be forgotten is North Carolina. We go there every year with family friends and it will be a trip on go on with my kids.
Then we go to my grandma's and me and my cousins do stuff like play outside. Some people might not even celebrate thanksgiving. Then we go inside and my dad cuts the turkey. Which some people might just eat ham during thanksgiving or something else. When we had thanksgiving when my grandpa and uncle were still alive me and my cousins would go to the basement and hang out with my grandpa. Then later at night we would hang out with my uncle. Some people might even go out to a restaurant because they probably don't want to cook. My grandma thinks the same thing after Thanksgiving. But
What makes my family so unique is that we have established that although we aren’t all physically together anymore like we were when I first moved to Tulsa, we are closer than ever. I thought that being apart from my family would take me back to life before I ever knew them, but they have become such a prevalent part of my life that our relationships can stand the distance. I find myself looking forward to the weekends when I can go back to Tulsa, even if it means I won’t get any work done. We know that no matter how busy we get; family is always a priority. Moving to Tulsa and growing up around my huge family showed me how much I really value family and the rare sense of belonging that you get when you are around them. I hope that in the future, my family will have the same opportunity to grow up surrounded by their loved ones and that they too will find value in
Grandma and Grandpa are probably some of the most amazing people in the world. I am really blessed to be so close with grandma and grandpa. Both distance wise and relationship wise. I don’t even know where to start. Between all the cooking lessons, rock shows, R.V. shows, birthdays, track meets, concerts, holidays, dinners, snakes, shopping trips and so on I have a lot of ground to cover in not a lot of time. I’ll start with the cooking lessons.
To me friends and family are so important and always put them first no matter what. I love to be around my family. Good memories at get togethers like christmas, birthdays and things like that. We would get together at my grandparents house and watch old tape films of when my dad was my age. I think it’s pretty interesting how much time have changed over the past years. I also like to go on trips with my family and friends like camping, going on road trips stuff like that. My family is that type of family who jokes around all the time and can’t take anyone serious. One thing that annoys me is when we see someone in public my dad would stand and talk to anyone for ever. But i still love my family and we stick by each other even through the hard
I myself, love to travel, go hiking, camping and see waterfalls with my family every year. My family to me means everything and we are all very
As I became older I would stay with my Aunt almost every weekend. She would take me to do many things I never did with my parents such as going to the movies, eating out at nice restaurants and shopping. She was my Miss.
Since my family lived so close together, we had many family traditions that remain important. We gather for nearly every holiday for a meal and routine. For Easter every year, we have an Easter egg hunt and dinner at my grandmother’s house. For Christmas Eve, we always went to my great-grandparents house and had dinner and exchanged gifts. For Christmas, we celebrated at home, and then went to my grandmother's for breakfast with our cousins. The importance of all of the holidays we celebrated was that no matter what was going on in our lives,
When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
