In order for humans to be able to create meaningful relationships with one another, they need to be able to communicate with each other. If individuals want to create relations with one another, they need to be able to understand each other. They also need to take the initiative to figure out others, and be able to communicate and connect with each other. However, the only way that you can understand others is if you relate with one another, in order to build relations and be comfortable around each other. In order for you to be able to connect with other people and have relations with others people, we need to leave our comfort zone and relate to other people. Whether it be learning a new language or moving to a new place, just like the individuals in the second source and third source were able to do.
In the story of “In the Skin of a Lion,” the main character is Patrick who lived amongst other immigrants and did not recognize their language and culture because he kept to himself. However, when he took the initiative to learn the Macedonian word for Iguana he was able to communicate with others at the fruit stall, and in the future he was able to be close to some new people he didn't even know existed. This source shows how if you take action upon your desires to make relations you will infact be able to make new friends, just like Patrick was able to make new relations with the people around him. Patrick was able to leave his comfort zone of keeping to himself to
Whether we are from different cultures or religions or if we look at the behaviour of animals we all like to be connected socially and feel accepted in society. (Yalom)
I learned that connecting with people is need and a personal fulfillment. I am, and have always been, genuinely interested in people. In William Cronon’s, Only Connect, he quotes a friend’s father advising his son, that whenever he had a conversation, “his job was to figure out what’s so neat about what the other person does” (Cronon, 1998).
There are a lot of barriers that existence within human nature. The most profound barrier that exists is the language barrier. As human, we are met to communicate with one another. Without communication, there is simply no connection. A language barrier draws imagery line between people to make them feel distant on a deeper level. The frustration rushes through one’s brain when he or she realizes that they have a mouth but cannot utilize it to get their point across. There is a great deal of frustration to be misunderstood due to the restraint and limitation the knowing words and of trying to piece these words together to properly express oneself. In this paper, I will explain the effect and frustration of boundaries between people and how there are ways to try to get rid of that profound barrier.

Archetypes and symbolism added to the understanding and appreciation in the movie The Lion King using dawn as a symbol and the fool as archetype.
Along with having a determined mindset, being relational furthers a person’s ability to be successful. Brooks believes that success doesn’t just come from achieving goals in life, but also from building good relationships. According to him, “When you have deep friendships with good people, you copy and then absorb some of their best traits” (Brooks 10). That is why relationships are so essential in life: they help shape who a person is. While Louie was imprisoned on Kwajalein, better known as “Execution Island”, he experienced firsthand why relationships are so important: “The guard’s name was Kawamura, and he spoke almost no English…[Louie and Phil] understood almost nothing Kawamura said, but his gentle smile and goodwill needed no translation. It was lifesaving” (Hillenbrand 142). For the duration of the time they were on Kwajalein, Kawamura continued to have compassion and build a relationship with them when no one else would bother to. Both Brooks and Louie demonstrate how
The movie, The Lion in Winter, is the story of a Christmas Court in 1183 in Chinon Castle. The purpose is for Henry II to announce his successor to the throne; nonetheless, negotiating the crown is complex. Henry has three sons, Richard, Geoffrey, and John. Henry favors John and wants him to marry Alice while Eleanor favors Richard and wants him to be king and marry Alice. The deal with Philip II though, is that Alice has to marry Richard for the VExin to be passed on, but this is not what Henry wants. Henry is trying to negotiate with Philip the second to make Alice marry John, so John will then be powerful with the Vexin. Based upon the research involving several topics it is clear that the movie is historically inaccurate in some areas.
Walt Disney teaches us that in life there will be many obstacles that we need to overcome, to seek greater outcomes. The Lion King uses many archetypes to display this lesson. Through creation, immortality, and the sun, The Lion King shows that life always continues. Creation can act as a very influential way in showing how to move forward. When the rain came to put out the fire.

Sometimes these important aspects of life are made difficult to connect with. This would result in a feeling of displacement or not fitting in with the rest of the world.

The two processes that are involved in every interaction are assimilation and accommodation. Assimilation means gaining some knowledge and making it fit in with what you already know. This is a necessity in order to develop our cognitive structures. This is a process that everyone encounters even though they may not be aware of when it is happening. Our perceptions of things are enhanced when something of the outside world is assimilated or added into our internal world. Accommodation is the changing of one’s structure of thought. During this process, the gaining of new knowledge fails to co-exist with what we already know. Therefore, we must accommodate or adjust our
