Not surprisingly, the first show I would ever have called my favorite would be NCIS. The influence it held over my educational career is still guiding my life today. However, I have grown to like darker cable shows like the Walking Dead. I do not know what draws me to this show. Maybe it’s the future forensic pathologist who just likes to watch shows about dead people. Regardless of the reason, I can’t wait to see how the series ends. I’m not just all about blood and guts, I also love the show Bob’s Burgers. The humor of the show matches my own. When I was younger, I would say that NCIS was my favorite show. Obviously because it brought me to the decision I wanted to be involved in forensics when I got older. Now I find myself interested
I can honestly say that my favorite TV show right now is The Wendy Williams Show. I have been watching the Wendy Williams show since she first aired. The show did not immediately draw my attention until I noticed Wendy bringing in some very amazing celebrity guest appearances. That’s when I suddenly began to tune in more and more each day. The very sassy, glib fashionista herself simultaneously emerged with more exciting news from each new episode.
In 2006, over 100 million people in the United States tuned in to watch either CSI or any if the other forensic and criminal investigation related television show each week (CJSG). Since then, the number of viewers has increased rapidly, as well as the amount of television shows with the same type of theme. As a result of the increase of these television programs, researchers are discovering a new phenomenon called the ‘CSI Effect’ that seems to be fueling an interest in forensic science and criminal investigations nationwide. This effect is actually the ability of criminal justice themed television shows to influence and increase victims’, jurors’ and criminals’ ideas about forensics, DNA testing and methods, and criminal investigations
Not all primetime crime shows are created equal; some bend forensic realities at different degrees than others depending on sub-genre. According to Hon
Friday Night Lights was engaging to me because I learned some valuable life lessons about
Well when I was little my older brother and me would always watch power rangers.I remember when I was really young we had a lot of Clifford the big red dog books.I loved reading them so of course i had to watch the show as well. Most of the shows I watched was the shows Colby liked so I just watched basically whatever he was watching.Usually we would just watch cartoon network.Shows like Courage the cowardly dog and Dexter's laboratory.I remember watching Dexter's laboratory more than any other shows.Dexter was really quirky, he was a genius. He had a sister name DD,she was an airhead who just always wanted to try to help her brother.I always related that show to me and Colby.
Dexter. A serial killer who kills other serial killers. The TV show that best shows my intellectual vitality. I know what you’re thinking or at least everyone who read this thinks. TV shows are for normal teens not future Stanford attending geniuses. How could a TV show possibly show any intellectual vitality? However, I feel future Stanford teens can watch TV and at the same time show their intellectual vitality.
There are over thousands of televisions shows that have come about in this century, but the two that come to mind as my favorite and that consist of significant ideas are “Dexter” and “Shameless.” As a matter of fact, when I am not in school I would binge watch these shows and finish a whole season in just one weekend. “Dexter” is crime-drama mystery show while “Shameless” is more of a comedy-drama. These shows consist of fantastic backgrounds and content, including amazing actors.
I watched Full house because it was an interesting and funny T.V. show. I found out about it when i was at my
One out of my two favorite shows is Grey’s Anatomy. Grey’s Anatomy focuses on a group of aspiring surgeons who roam the hospital. The show starts off when “the group” are newbies; interns. Although they do face difficult times both on the job and at home, they all end up being great surgeons that accomplish many marvelous things. Next off, one of my other favorite shows is Law And Order; SVU. “SVU” stands for Special Victims Unit, which is the unit that the detectives in the show work for. These detectives take time out of their day to work hard on figuring out how they will catch the guilty person or people that have committed crimes such as rapes, murders, and others. Even though the detectives do get time off that doesn’t mean that they are on break. Whenever an emergency pops up they must go back to work as soon as possible. These detectives get new cases every single day and lock up the guilty mostly every single day. Their job will never end until all of the abominable people stop doing crimes, which may take some
As a stay-at-home mother, I find myself in front of Netflix often when I finally have a chance to relax; suspenseful shows that put me on the edge of my seat are my guilty pleasure. Frequently, I find myself watching medical dramas, crime procedural dramas, or science fiction shows. Even though I have watched them over and over, a few of my favorites are: Bones; Dexter; Gray’s Anatomy; Fringe; and House, M.D. They always draw me into their storylines and welcome me into their world, season after season. In fact, my favorite show of all time would be House, M.D. due to the medical mysteries, my relatability to the main character, and the humor.
“Criminal Minds” has just recently returned to CBS three short weeks ago and I couldn’t be more excited. It is filled with suspense and keeps me on the edge of my seat. The characters are strongly developed and I feel like they are so easy to relate to. To me, this is a five-star show. “Criminal Minds” isn’t just a show to me though. I feel like this show has taught me so much about how to protect myself and be more street smart.
Psych, Criminal Minds, and Baby Daddy. First, Psych is my favorite because it’s really funny.
With a heavy work schedule, my time off went from a full summer to about two days a week with the beginning of school coming increasingly fast. My time off was spent well on these free days just binge-watching the first crime show I saw on the channels list. I would get lost on the couch watching Bones, Criminal Minds, Law & Order and anything else crime related. My entire high school career, downtime seemed to be consumed by this crime show addiction. I had watched so many shows I could tell who was guilty halfway through the show and I was taking Biology for three consecutive years just to get a good basic idea of how the evidence worked in real life.
In my opinion, Pretty Little Liars is the best show. There are lots of shows to choose from, but Pretty Little Liars is the best. I love watching this show because the characters are relatable, it’s suspenseful, and it’s creepy.
My favorite TV show at the moment is Orange is the New Black because all the characters have
