Informative Speech On Anxiety

At some point in time all of us experience anxiety whether or not it is for a test you stayed up all night studying for and somehow forgot everything you have ever learned since preschool or the case may be more serious. I myself, deal with anxiety on a day to day basis in many ways, at first I thought it wasn't a big deal, but then I started to suffer from physical pain and later found out it was from untreated anxiety.
Today, I'm here to convince you that using coping mechanisms and getting help is the right thing to do. Even if you are someone who already knows how to cope or might not have serious cases of anxiety to need to be treated this should persuade you to better understand those who deal with these problems daily and even help then when it is needed. I am going to accomplish all of this by explaining what anxiety actually is, the side effects, and providing important information about the topic.
To start us off let's cover the general information about anxiety and the different types that people deal with on a day to day basis. Anxiety is the most common mental illness in the United States affecting forty million adults ages eighteen and older, or 18.1% of the population every year. Along with that anxiety disorders affect 25.1% of children between ages thirteen and eighteen years old, affecting one in eight children.
