General Purpose: To Inform
Specific Purpose Statement: To inform my audience of childhood sexual abuse.
Central Idea: To give the understanding of how many children are sexually abused by their acquaintances they know.
Introduction
I. The most damaging aspect is the trauma to our hearts and souls from being betrayed by the people that we love and trust.
II. Childhood sexual abuse, what are some ways to know the signs of abuse and how does the supervision relate to the sexual abuse.
III. Sometimes secrets are hidden from the ones that we love, because we are ashamed of what has occurred. But, it is all right to come forward and be expressive about what has occurred.
IV. I have read and researched the internet, journal and a book to find out more information on the childhood sexual assault. Let alone, I had lived with a sexual offender not knowing really who he was because of the hidden secrets he keeps within himself.
V. Today, I will inform you on the statistics, how they become victims, and the signs of a child who has been sexually abused. A. What is considered sexual abuse? B. The data on how many reports on sexual assault are made? C. How is the social media playing an important part in sexual assault.

Body
I. Sexual abuse is considered as a forcible act or behavior on any person that occurs without consent. This can include rape or attempted rape, molestation, groping, kissing or comments made or pictures of the victim in sexual poses. July2000.September2017. B. In juvenile cases sexual abuse normally does not leave just one victim, there are other victims who may not be known to this victim.
II. Sexual crimes are not just by acquaintances there is other means of making a child a victim and this is by social media. A. Lack of supervision of a responsible adult. Child predators are always looking for children who are freely giving information out that they are meaning to give out.
