Hayley’s life shattered when her father lost a job that mattered.
She now lives in a nightmare under her uncle who treats her harshly and doesn’t care.
She does not get along with her cousin and brother because she hides the truth about romantic relations with another.
This past fighter left the ring because her past relationship remains in the back of her head like a bee sting.

West Young is the rich boy whose family is tapered.
He is “the unnamed delinquent son you read about in the paper.”
Just expelled from his private school for fighting and his relationship with his father is uninviting.
After learning the news, West’s father was blown away which resulted in a quarrel with words that he could not unsay.

West’s eyes land on a gorgeous girl that made his stomach twirl.
To escape from the thugs Hayley uses West as a pawn.
West sees what is going on and tries to fight the guys who are doing Hayley wrong.
West is beaten up pretty bad and Hayley knows he will not last long.
Hayley reluctantly jumps into the fight right on and by the time West wakes up Hayley and the thugs are gone.

Barely having enough money for food and fuel,
West wakes up out of his car and prepares for his first day of public school.
He shows up for his first class and is only recognized by one other classmate and learns more about Hayley including Matt, the hostile and abusive fighter boy she used to date.
During lunch, Hayley is confronted by Matt who demands to know who beat up his brother.
Her answer is answered by another.
West stands up for Hayley and accepts the offer to fight Matt in the cage.
Hayley pleads and begs Matt to not fight West which fills him with rage.
After school, Hayley has mixed feelings about West,
“Should I [Hayley] be mad or grateful to West,” she could not contest.

Hayley agrees to train West for the fight against Matt.
