This paper will outline my Jung Typology test results for Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking and Judging (INTJ) personality type as it relates to me Arthur W. Hynes III. The paper will summarize how each category of the INTJ personality type relates to me in my strengths, weakness, professional environment, and social settings. One may draw the conclusion of my personality type and how I interact with different personality types.

My Personality Type
INTJ’s are internal and are considered as long-term thinkers who think out their actions and implement plans to complete them. They are conservative and may have very little social interactions. INTJ’s work well within systems and may enjoy the creation of the given system. Often INTJ’s become wrapped up in the details of tasks and situations.
NT Temperament Summarized
Intuitive Thinkers (NT’s) are presumed to be competent and goal oriented people. They are considered to be long-term planners. NT’s work well within systems and may live their life within a given system in which they manage the details of that system. Conversely, they may have difficulty completing a project in which they started. They tend to conduct in depth analysis of most events and situations. They do not tend to be very socially active, and may unintentionally disregard the feelings of others.
71% Introverted Personality Type I tend to listen and think carefully about a subject matter before I make a
The auxiliary function of the INTJ personality type is extroverted thinking, which I consider to be the function that has so far contributed the most towards my academic success. I have always been adept at time management skills- I don’t believe I have the physical capacity to leave an assignment until the
As requested, I took the Jung Typology Assessment. The results revealed my personality to be ISFJ (Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging). The first characteristic listed is the desires to serve others. An ISFJ is loyal, sometimes taken for granted, bad at delegating, but produces superior quality work. Methodical, accurate, and possess an excellent memory are more characteristics of the ISFJ personality type. They work well in a small group and make reliable coworkers; however, they tend to be awkward in a supervisory capacity. Not only is an ISFJ a great employee but they are extremely family oriented and dedicated to their intimate group of friends. If a friend or family member is in need of emotional support an ISFJ is by their side without
According to the Jung Typology Test, my four letter personality type is ISFJ. I was not surprised with my results at all and found them to be very accurate and represent me as a person. As an introvert, “I often prefer doing things alone or with one or two people (CITE). As a student, being an introvert is a disadvantage for me because I do not work well with large study groups and instead rather lock myself in a room and study alone. With sensing, “I learn best when I see how to use what I’m learning” (CITE) and only complete things using what I know from experience. By only using my experience when completing assignments or school work hinders my experience as a student by limiting my ability to learn new material. Through feeling, I tend
After taking the survey I learned that I was an Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging or ISTJ. ISTJ’s are known for keeping the rules and not liking things that have unclear rules. They also hate when things or people have inconsistencies, or when people do not keep up their end of an agreement. They love being apart of organized groups such as government, schools, the military, and churches because they all have a set way of doing things and do not sway in their beliefs. Their social skills are excellent because they are precise and to-the-point. Feelings are something that ISTJ’s have a hard time discussing, because feelings are random and out of their control. When ISTJ’s are learning something it has to be important and practical for bettering
This assignment assured some parts of my personality that I already knew. But, it also taught me new things about me. The Jung Typology test gave as a result that my type of person is ISTJ; 47% introvert, 1% sensing, 34% thinking and 9% judging. I actually agree with these results because it accurately reflects my type of personality. I am a quiet person that does not often socialize since I feel very comfortable when I’m surrounded by my family and close friends. In addition, my personality tends to be very rational and neutral and most of my decisions are normally ruled by what is logical and not based on emotions. Therefore, a lot of people see me as a cold person. The last component which is judging also resembles a lot on me since I believe that we as humans don’t know what the other people have to go through in their daily lives.
Jung typology test has become something that organizations have been using in order to assist with determining the different personality types where individuals are concerned. While this is not the first time I have engaged in this kind of personality assessment, there is a welcomed refreshment to be reminded about who I am. The results from the human-metrics typology test by Jung revealed that I am the INTJ type. In breaking down the letters and the categories this is the result.
The topic for this week’s paper was to do an analysis about our own personality type and to include supporting documentation for why I either agreed or did not agree with the personality type that was determined from taking the Jung Typology Test.
I discovered that I am an INTJ with a strong preference of introversion over extraversion. The rest of my results are moderate, and I have always known that I am introverted, but I didn’t think it was at such an extreme level. The typology test gave me a staggering one hundred percent preference of introversion over extraversion. According to an INTJ type description, I am a perfectionist who is willing to work at anything until I grasp it. I don’t understand social rituals like, flirting and small talk, and I have a disregard for authority, especially if it limits my work or creativity. However, I am a reliable person who can read and likely understand the mean behind a person's certain tone of voice or facial expression. I agree with quite
For the 41q personality test, my personality type was "Spontanious Idealist". I have a moderate preference towards extroverts, a strong preference towards intuitive thinkers, a strong preference towards feelers, and a strong preference towards perceivers. My personality description is enthusiastic, excited, and creative. I am good with people and have excellent people skills. I am able to do almost anything I set my mind to and I am excited by new ideas and experiences. Details and planning make me bored and I prefer to simply jump straight into a project. These were my results for the 41q personality test.
The Jung Typology test will give you an idea of what kind of personality you do and will also give you a psychological outlook of the certain types of jobs that may fit you. The results of the test I felt the ISJT type description was pretty close to how I see myself at times. I have never considered myself an “inspector” but I do have a keen sense of what is right and wrong and able to following up on it. The following three strengths thinking judgment, interpersonal intelligence, and verbal-linguistic intelligence are the key parts of Jung and Gardner theories that will support me through my student process.
This paper will delineate the specifics of the ISTJ personality and analyze my personality type. Understanding that different people handle situations differently, this paper will discuss personal development mechanisms I must consider in my daily interaction with others. Specifically, this paper will discuss relevant personality strengths and considerations for me to develop and improve weaker areas in order to better serve other personality types. This paper will also examine aspects of my organizational behavior and a self-assessment to become a better coworker. Of the 16 types of Meyers-Briggs personality types, I scored as an ISTJ, which is consistent with a Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator test conducted in early 2013. To become a better coworker, manager and organizational leader, I must strengthen my organizational behaviors and beliefs to develop a greater worldview perspective (Fisher, 2012).
Living primarily inside their own minds, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations. Seeking clarity in everything, therefore driven to build knowledge. Intelligence and the ability to apply logic to theories to find solutions is highly valued. The natural drive to turn theories into concrete understanding may turn into a feeling of personal responsibility to solve theoretical problems, and help society move towards a higher understanding (Portrait of an INTP. 2012.). “INTPs are pensive, analytical folks. They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them (Butt, J. 2012).”
While being here at Mid-America Christian University and taking classes I have had the pleasure of taking this test more than once and each time my personality seems to have changed. The type of personality which was generated from this Jung Typology personality test identified me as being and ISFJ. It showed that I am an ISFJ Introvert (22%) Sensing (3%) Feeling (9%) Judging (56%). This assessment in looking at the results is a fairly accurate assessment of my personality. The personality type which is most consistence with my perception of myself would be that of being an “Introvert” which showed a 22%.
The INFJ personality is known to be the world rarest personality type and often misunderstood. This type stand for a percentage of less than 2% of the overall world population according to Holm (2009), the majority of that percentage being female and some famous INFJ that can be named are Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Mother Teresa. My INFJ in academic and business milieu: from the past week assignment, my preferred four letters chosen base on the instructions received from Myers-Briggs type indicator were INFJ, which stands for Introverting, iNtuiting, Feeling and Judging. For this week assignment I was very surprise after taking the Jungian test to discover that my personality type fours letter were confirmed to be the same INFJ. Having my conformed INFJ profile means that in business milieu, my creativity and sense of responsibility come in first. Although as an INFJ I’m strongly introverted, I nevertheless highly care about my relationship with other individuals. At work I’m open to communication and always available when it comes to help colleagues to carry out on tasks or explaining work procedures. However, my personality type also implies that I can have sudden need for personal time away from others, which is my way to recharge and regain my energy. In an academic milieu, I’m more focus on setting and reaching my goals; I get motivated by planning in advance my studying weeks and do a lot of efforts to meet my assignment deadlines. I can get emotionally
The next set of traits is sensing and intuitive. These types refer to the way a person interprets information (Basics). A person with a
