"Stay calm when things are hard or not going your way as you will get though it when you persevere instead of quitting quitting leads to less happiness in life than perseverance and hope."-Salva Dut. A boy that at the age of eleven walked with 1500 lost boys of south Sudan to a refugee camp and is now helping the people of south Sudan. I believe that everyone needs a hero and that should be universal, for me my hero is Salva Dut and i have three reasons why he should be your hero too. The first reason that I believe that he is a hero is because he has perseverance and i believe that this is one trait that this is necessary for a hero. How i know that he has this trait is because he had walked hundreds of miles to get to a refugee camp. He never
He is the hero of the story, but What do you think makes a hero, his loyalty or his bravery? A Hero is someone who is loyal, such as loyal to his country, his family and loyal to his god or gods.
“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of
My hero is Bilbo Baggins from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit. His first obstacle he faced that leads to him being a hero is when he was first invited to partake in an adventure. The second one is when he was in the caves trying to escape from the creature Gollum. Some struggles he had faced were his fear and his laziness. He had a great and famous mentor known as Gandalf who helped him along his journey.
Ricky Martin once said, “Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Ghandi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity.” Almost anyone can be a hero, as long as they have the courage and the maturity to understand and respect those who they attempt to help. Despite the fact that a hero cannot save everyone, being heroic is about placing others before oneself and strive to help those who need it the most.
This quote also explains that anyone can be a hero. You don’t have to be rich, or a celebrity. A hero is someone who works hard to achieve goals while making the right decision. A hero inspires other people to make the right choice. Tristan Seger, a man who had lost his leg in the military, inspires people everyday to push through the rough times.
“It’s not easy to be a hero. You do it because of what you believe, not because of what other people deserve.” Anyone can face a challenge or a hardship. But what makes a true hero is how the person takes on the challenge. Often, heroes show feats of ingenuity and acts of bravery. Two heroes that acted during the American Civil Rights Movement, were Martin Luther King Jr, and Rosa Parks. A hero is a person who has demonstrated behaviors to ethically receive our appreciation and respect. A hero is an ordinary person who finds the strength within themselves to persevere and undergo hardships and calamity.
A hero is a brave and strong person, who is also very human. A hero
Have you ever wondered what makes a hero? What makes other people think of this person as a hero? A hero isn't born overnight, a hero doesn't only do one small thing and he becomes known as one. Hero’s are made up of many characteristics. They are made up of many events in time that they did something that influenced people or the world. There are some things you can do to become more of a hero, to become known as someone who helps people in their lives or helps the community.
Anyone who influences anyone else by saving or helping save his or her lives can be a hero. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the lives of millions of people by bringing justice to minorities. Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest heroes, led a nonviolent revolution to free his country. Even a parent can be a hero to his or her child by leading them in the right direction. All teachers are heroes when they make it their job to teach a child anything that will help them in life. You don’t have to go to great lengths by risking your life to make a difference in someone else’s life.
true hero has the courage to do that.Personal sacrifices hurt some people and others make them
"All the world is full of suffering. It is also full of overcoming" said Helen Keller, a woman who faced many obstacles in her life ("Fun"). Most people don't dedicate their lives to help others, especially if they have disabilities themselves, but Helen Keller is a different story. At 19 months old, Helen Keller was diagnosed with a disease that led her to be deaf and blind. A true hero is someone who is dedicated to help others in need no matter the circumstances/struggle he or she faces, never gives up, and is an inspiration for others. Helen Keller is a hero because she overcame the struggle of being deaf and blind by never giving up, dedicated her life to help others, and made change in the world despite her disabilities.
Those who are not willing to go through hardships, be selfless, courageous and make sacrifices for others aren’t heroes. Throughout the hero's journey, a hero must go through many hardships. Any heroic deed involves danger and sacrifice, and a hero needs courage to overcome the odds they face. To be a hero, one must put other’s needs before their own, and stay true to what they think is right.
There are many types of heroes (such as the ones in comic books, myths, movies, or even just everyday life heroes) but all of them have perseverance when they’re going through a conflict. Heroes are role models and they’re people that we look up too. They all have unique and special qualities that make one another different from each other. For example policemen battle crime everyday and when they’re overcoming a conflict they have determination, courage and other traits that people admire them for and that make them as a hero. Typically a hero is admired for their achievement/actions and qualities.
What does make a hero a hero? Is it there looks? Alternatively, maybe is it their personality? However, the question is what are those essential qualities that make one a hero? Different people require different heroes to look up to or try to emulate. However, whoever it may be, they all possess certain qualities. My hero is my mother, for the reason that she is selfless, compassion, and courage. That kind of selflessness can often be premeditated, since concentrating on others' needs often winds up helping one accomplish one’s own goals. However, a heroic leader does so without any anticipation of a return. The display and concern show the care one has for others. This can often apparent itself in strong but gentle actions planned to increase the lives of others. Courage and bravery come to mind first when we think of heroism. However, it is difficult to achieve anything truly heroic unless one is up against overwhelming chances. As Nelson Mandela put it, "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." These minor acts of heroism rarely attract any notice. A true hero is always sympathetic, benevolent and shows a great deal of compassion and sympathy to those poorly or in agony. He or she keeps away judgements; that are oriented to the self and embraces an attitude that serves others.
So now that you know what is a hero, which is be proactive and put first things first you know that everyone can be a hero like you, and me. All of these heros are so important to us. But, there is one question, who is your
