Many early Muslims had a great deal of faith. Due to the complete honesty and the influence of the appealing personality of Muhammad, the faith of his supporters were unusually strong. In the 7th century A.D., Islamic faith was charging through the Middle East. Many reasons are to credit for the rise of Islamic faith. However the muslims attacks on other nations, Islamic beliefs and trade were the key contributors into the rise of the Islamic religion. There army would lay waste to other nations.Also the Islamic beliefs were intriguing and the city of Mecca was in the middle of a bunch of trade routes which helped spread the religion.

The civilization and nation of Islam grew as an excessive empire and the religion grew as fast as the empire. Also some of their methods and practices were getting people to believe in their god which helped establish their empire.

Throughout the entirety of the Islamic faith, Islamic civilizations have contributed ideas and characteristics of their culture that have spread throughout the world. Also, Islamic civilizations have helped to develop a variety of ideas and caused fields of industry and facets of culture to advance. These fields include but are not limited to education, medicine, mathematics, technology, literature, architecture and trade. Although every industry in the Islamic civilization has an important role in society, education, medicine and trade prove to be the three most important aspects of Islamic achievements.

Islam is known as one of the second-largest religion. Islam is also, the fastest-growing religion in the world. Did you know, Islam is an arabic word that means peace? Christianity on the other side is known as the world’s largest religion! Also, the bible's Christians use is a best-seller book!

On October 27-28th is the Annual Costa Backcountry Fly Championship Series in Islamorada, FL. The entry fee is $500 and includes a t-shirt and fisherman activities checks and registration form should be mailed into BFC. The fish species is Snook or Redfish only, each angler can us one rod & reel at a time. According to the rules, the fish must be caught, photographed, measured and released alive into the water. The competition is a based on a score basis system so, depending on how many inches your fish is determines your score if the fish measures 8” you get 8 points etc. There is no chumming, and all fish must be caught with a fly only no bait or scents may be applied. The tournament begins at 7am and ends at 3pm, awards will be handed

Islam is defined as, “the monotheistic religion based on the doctrine of submission to God and of Muhammad as the last chief and prophet of God”(Dictionary 720). There are multiple practices included in the religion of Islam, similar to any other religion. Compared to Christianity or Judaism, when one follows Islam, one must follow The Five Pillars of Islam and the rules and circumstances of the worshipping practices. In addition, depending on the branch one is apart of, they may have to follow laws enforced by different prophets as well. One’s lifestyle will change because when following Islamic faith, their religious life is their main priority. Meaning, a Muslim makes the commitment to the practices one-hundred

"Islam" is derived from the Arabic root salaama meaning peace, purity, submission and obedience. Islam stands for making peace by submitting to the will of God and obeying His law. Jews and Christians view Islam as the latest of the world's great religions. However, worldwide Muslims (sometimes written "Moslems") understand their universal religion as the "final religion" and the "primal religion."

For my paper I decided to choose the religion of Islam. I decided to pick this religion because of its fast growing rate. It is also different from what I am used to growing up with, so I was interested in learning more. I had learned some basic facts after the 9/11 event, but the Muslim religion and culture was still a mystery to me. Picking this topic has helped me learn more about Muslims and will help me better relate to them in my future work.

Khadija was fifteen years older than Muhammad. Muhammad accepted work from Khadija and had led a few caravans for her. Credit should be given to Khadija for Muhammad’s success with Islam because it was her wealth that enabled him to spend a significant amount of time in religious meditation and isolation. Even though she was some years older than her twenty-five-year-old employee and had been married twice, she asked him to marry her (Phipps, 35).

On the surface Muhammad is usually considered to be a prophet and messenger of God, but when looking closer we can see that He played many more roles in His life time including one of a Statesman.

Muhammad’s strong denunciation of idolatry in Mecca earned him rejection and a great deal of persecution by his own people. Some of his followers fled to Abyssinia in Africa at the advice of the prophet. The death of Muhammad’s uncle, who protected him from youth, left him vulnerable and unsafe in Mecca. He fled to Medina where he had established a good relationship with the citizens. They welcomed him. This made Muhammad rise to a great level of influence not just as a prophet but also politically.
