Muslims can’t pray under three minutes but can worship for longer then an hour or more everyday, it depends on the person and how religious and committed you are to the religion. The Temple Mount is important to them because it’s the temple where God's presence dwells, as strictly forbidden, and as a result Jews traditionally did not enter the Temple Mount at all for fear of treading on sacred ground. The Western wall is the last piece of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, which was destroyed in 70 CE by Titus and the Roman legions. The Romans did not destroy the protective wall which surrounded the Temple. This leads many Jews to believe that the wall is holy and has been blessed by God. This made Judaism very important to our history
Judaism and Christianity are key religions in the history of our world, and are still around today. Both of these religions are monotheistic, believing in only YHWH, the God of Abraham. However, if we look deeper, there are many more similarities and differences in these two religions. Some things that are comparable are their political figures, their holy works, and social beliefs.

Christianity started after the birth of Christ but was not really known about or taught until after Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. Islam was started later on but still a long time ago. It is thought to be started in 622 A.D. by a man known as Muhammad.
A. FOUNDING: Islam was founded by Muhammad when he received word from Allah in a prophecy (or vision). He began life in Mecca where idolatry was a main fact of life but had to flee to Madinah to escape prosecution in what has come to be known as the Hijrah. Islam spread through his family and friends at first but later his companions known as sahabat continued his work by a number of successful conquests which spread Islam to most of the middle east. Islam reached it high point when Muhammad and his army from Madinah conquered Mecca which was later deemed to the the Holy City.

Jews believe that the Torah is the most important part of the holy book, which is called Tenakh and is written in Hebrew. The holy book has three distinct parts called Neviim, Ketuvim, and torah. They believe that about 3,000 years ago, God gave the torah to Moses, Judaism’s most important prophet. Judaism’s rituals involve breaking of Shabbat bread, and sharing wine. They worship on Friday evening and Saturday morning. They come together at a Holy building called a synagogue to pray. Jews are orthodox, conservative and reformed.

Human beings have always been curious about the meaning and purpose of life. Religions try to answer the curiosity people have about there being a higher source, typically identifying this greater domination as God. Some beliefs teach that there is only one G-d this is defined as a monotheistic religion. Some examples of monotheistic religions are Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Although each sect has a different perspective on teachings and beliefs they have one common thread; the belief in a singular deity.
Judaism originated a very long time ago, it is a part of the Bronze Age Polytheistic Ancient Semitic religions. The Jewish calendar goes back more than 5000 years, most scholars date the beginning of the religion of the Israelites to the known founder, Abraham, whose life is generally dated around 2000 to 1800 B.C.E. Abraham came to believe that the universe was the works of a single creator, and taught this to other believers. Therefore, Judaism is the first recorded religion to advocate monotheism, meaning there is only one God. Both Christianity and Islam found some of their roots in Judaism, about 2,000 years after Abraham, Jesus was born into Judaism. Then after Jesus, Muhammad could trace his ancestry back to Abraham. Judaism has three essential parts the written Torah, the recognition of Israel, which are the descendants of Abraham, as uniquely holy people chosen by God, and also it is a requirement that Israel lives in accordance with God's laws as it’s said in the Torah.
Filled with tension and fuelled by animosity, the strained relationship between Muslims and Jews is a modern phenomenon, dating to the end of the nineteenth century. The strictly monotheistic religions have a total of 1.6 billion followers for Islam and 14 million followers for Judaism, respectively. Though the relationship between Muslims and Jews is not one of alliance, and records prove different sources of disagreement, it is evident that both religions are evidently similar. The misguided pretence of Islam and Judaism being two completely different and distinct religions is a regular occurrence in society. The idea that Judaism and Islam are parallel can be understood through the lives of their founding figures. Moses and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Muhammad who urged his followers to surrender to Allah; their creator and sustainer. It’s made of 2 major groups; the Shia and Sunni and they believe and adhere to the Quran in their daily life. Moreover, it has 1.5 Billion followers. Different from that, Judaism traces its roots to 1800 B.C. to the ancient Eastern region of Canaan (present Israel and Palestine religions) and is based on their spiritual ancestors Abraham, Jacob and Isaac especially on the covenant God made with Abraham and his lineage to give them a holy land and make them a sacred population. There are 14 million followers of Judaism in the world today and they use the
Christianity and Judaism are two of the three main religions in the world. These religions are referred to as Abrahamic faiths, because Abraham is a major part of their beliefs. Christians and Jews alike, link their backgrounds to Sarah and Abraham. These religions have differing beliefs and traditions. Nevertheless, they are very similar in numerous ways.
If one were to look at all of the major religions of the world today, he or she might come to the conclusion that Christianity and Judaism standout as the most similar. Founded by Abraham, Judaism is the oldest of the world’s monotheistic religions that eventually led to the development of the two most dominant, monotheistic religions: Christianity and Islam. While Judaism found its beginning through God’s covenant with Abraham, Christianity originated through the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just as there are many similarities between the two religions, many differences stand as well.
