It was about two in the morning and everyone has went to bed. I was awake, the house was so quite, I could hear everyone breathing. Elena and Andrea where sleeping on my bed with me. I was sitting at the foot of my bed watching Elena and Andrea sleep. It felt as if I was still going to cry even hours after everything. Wondering if they were going to show this part on T.V. or leave it out. Wondering if they were even going to keep the show going after this. Thinking I heard a door open, my heart speed up. What if... a scream almost left my lips when I see Zayn poke his head around the door looking in. He just looks at me, then holding out his hand for me to come. Slowly, I get up, taking him hand, letting him lead me. He walks us to the …show more content…
He glared at her.
I did my best to act like nothing was wrong or going on; that was the truth.
“Do you mind?” I said to Louis who was standing right in front of me. He stepped to the side, so I could stand up.
“Thank you.” I said, looking at Zany, he smiled. Starting to walked off I heard Andrea say “Wait of me.” I looked back, Zayn was running his hand throughout his hair, rubbing his eyes.
“So?” Andrea said, smiling at me.
Walking into our room I could feel her watching me.
“Where have you to been?” Elena said, then adding, “Where are you dress and Zoey isn't?”
Andrea looked around the room. “Is it just us?” she whisper. Elena shock her head no. I took this chance to sneak out of the room. Louis and Zayn were right where we left them. Right before I opened the glass door I could see my refection, I was in my pj's tank top and shorts, my hair as a bit messy; not really caring I open the door. Walked out. Walking off I toss my hair up in a ponytail. Do a few quick stretches. Then take off running. I haven't been running in weeks. Part way down the beach I can hear my name being called so I stop running. Elena and Andrea where walking, seeing Elena can't run. Waiting for them to get closer I sit. I couldn't see the house any more.
Once they got to me they just look at me, sitting down. I just look at them back.
“Did she tell you?” I asked.
The sun was shining, the wind was softly blowing as the two girl nod their heads
I trip over the curb, spilling a few drops of iced coffee over the brim of my cup, as I attempt to keep my dog-eared notebook from slipping out of my grip. I twist and shove my way through the narrow street, apologizing to the owners of the stray feet I step on. I walk onto a larger street and let out a breath; the suffocating heat of an Italian summer is enough to cope with, without the sweaty skin of a hundred others pressing against me. I can’t say I didn’t want this—the air is thick with both moisture and stories. I sit down in a nook by a rusty water fountain and take out a pen.
“Will you shut the fuck up? This place is loud enough without you going on and on,” I yelled. His eyes focused on me for the first time and they softened slightly. I got this funny feeling in the pit of my stomach as his unusually dark eyes stared into mine. I stood, I just couldn't deal with this right now. “Thanks, Zarra, but I need to get away from all this.” I made a beeline for the door.
I ensure that I adjust to their level so that I am not towering over them as this could be quite daunting.
“Take your time, Vi,” Sarah said using the Kiowa word for sister or an endearment between friends. She flipped her hair around, her long highlighted hair swirled around her as she smiled over at John. Her demeanor melting from anger to seducer in quick succession; flowing through her, sinking away. Sashaying away, Sarah grabbed John’s arm and whispered into his ear while walking her fingers up his arm. “I’m anxious to hear about your workout program, John. Your body looks so strong and… fit.” Sarah lowered her voice further, gently running her hand down his side, “I’ll bet you have lots of… stamina.”
They kind of just say “cool”, they ask what I do. They’re not really too interested.
“Shit, shit, shit…” Kelsey mumbled to herself as she leaned against the wall of her room to put her other black stiletto on. She quickly zipped up her black dress, applied red lipstick and ran out the door. The warm night air brushed against her legs as she quickly walked to the bar downtown. She was on a mission tonight… and being late wasn’t part of the plan.
As evening approached, I rose from the bed, the form of my body leaving a ghost-like imprint on the comforter. I smoothed out the impression, knowing how Melissa liked things neat, and traded my old clothes for new ones. After changing I looked into the full-length mirror on the back of the door. I looked like some college leftover in a pair of camouflage pants and an Aéropostale shirt. As I left the building, a soldier broke from behind the desk and followed at my heels.
He looked down at his phone and saw Zayn was calling him. Zayn had left the On The Road Again Tour for a short period of time saying he was stressed. Liam grew worried as he answered the phone. “Hey Zayn” Liam said, his heart racing.
Sarah walked in and looked like she hadn’t slept much. She waved at us then went to her room. After we finished eating I curled up at one end of the couch and watched TV. Ryder wasn’t happy about that so he picked me up, laid down on the couch so I was lying in front of him. With a throw blanket laying over us we both fell asleep. A loud knock at the door woke me up. I slid out from under Ryder’s muscular forearm and jogged to the door. I looked out the peep hole and there stood a flower delivery guy.
I woke up and rolled out of bed. I went to the kitchen to make breakfast. On the way there I noticed Addison and Jenna curled up together in the middle of the hall way. I bent down and gently shook them awake. "Why are you girls sleeping in the hall way?" I asked. "Long story," Jenna said. "I've got time," I replied. "Uh okay. So last night I was having some doubts about the wedding so I went to the bathroom and called Lindsay for advice. Then when I came out Val had been eavesdropping on the whole conversation. He got mad at me because he thought I wasn't committed to our relationship. Then I got mad at him and I kinda gave him the ring back and kicked him out," Jenna explained breaking down in tears. I pulled her into a hug
She obviously knows the noise was nothing and the shadow had to be a tree. Feeling better about herself she decides to make some hot chocolate. Wanting to walk outside in the morning breeze, with a new found courage she goes out to get the mail. On her way back to the house she notices clay colored boot prints leading up to the door. She knows they weren't there before but she decides that she's being ridiculous and that they were obviously from Luis and she continues up the stairs. Before reaching the first step the sunlight reveals two handprints on the glass of her door. Suddenly she stops. She drops the mail and her hot chocolate, the glass shatters on the ground and the hot liquid douses her bare feet. Frozen in fear she cannot move. Her hearing becomes muffled and her breathing speeds up rapidly. Her lungs ach feeling as though she cannot gather her breath. The memories of her night come flooding back to her. The noise, the shadow, and the dogs barking into the darkness, someone was outside. The sun's radiance plunged her into a cold sweat as she trembles at the thought of a stranger outside in the night. Through her muffled ear she hears Luca and Maxwell barking and jumping on the glass door. She feels her heart rate increase due to their warning but she cannot seem to make her muscles move. Time stops, silence falls and Autumn feels a chills rise up her arms. In a single moment two hands grab her. One wraps around her rib cage hitting her hard and squeezing forcing all the air in her body out. The other hand wraps around her mouth. The cool leather pulls against her lips as she tries to scream but the large muscular hand grips harder. She feels like her skin is ripping under the leather but she forces herself to kick and swing attempting to break free. The arm around her ribs jerks harder, their force is much stronger than her own. She is pulled back
It was as if she was lifted in relief in what she had just said, and then she continued. I should have stayed and talked to you. I was mean.
I raced across the club, I could feel the sweat trapped inside my fist, my phone bored into the palm of my hand. My eyes searched frantically, my feet carried me in too many directions. I ran up to the bar, "Restroom?" I panted. The burly man pointed to a small door, dimmed in the shadows. I threw open the door with a clash.
But anyway, it was a beautiful day out of the cottage, a light breeze, the sun shining off of the dirt ground, and men yelling to sell their goods. But I was ready to get Belle once in for all. She was working in that stupid library of hers, and I was waiting for her to come out. I, cannot be seen in such place with… books! My fellow followers will think I like books. I at least need a room with three to four mirrors in it. This long flowy hair doesn’t come naturally. Finally, when Belle came out of that old smelling room, I raced by the fountain strutting to show off my muscles. Knocking over wagons, fruit stands, children, and stopping to look at myself. Before, I drank my twelve raw eggs, and my large glass of milk just to make my muscles POP a little. I called after Belle, but her pace got faster and faster until I lost her. Oh well, I thought, I can get her in no time. So I walked back to her house visiting my
Walking angrily, the sun beaming at me. It is nine a.m. fifteen more minutes and I’ll have to go through all the pressure all over again. “Daniela walk faster, we don’t have much time.” “ Okay, mom gosh.” As I walk up the steps I can already visualize her red puffy hair as big as an exploded can of tomato sauce. Her revolting loud voice that she often used to shout like a huge monster that would often get me frightened.
