Most students live on campus in one the six housing halls. Bayliss-Henninger and Tanner Halls are for first year students only. All first year students are required to stay in these halls for the first year. After freshman year students are allowed to stay in any of the other 4 housing halls. If students do not live on campus they rent a house in the surrounding area or perhaps an apartment(Western Illinois University).

The cost of IU can vary depending on if you are from in state or out of state. Out of state tuition and expenses are usually more expensive. In state tuition and expenses are usually less expensive. In state tuition costs $24,538 for the cost of attendance. The cost are broken down into several categories. Tuition and fees at IU cost $10,388, room and board cost $9,794, and books and supplies cost $1,230. These cost are just the direct cost of going to IU. There are also transportation which costs $1,030 and personal expenses which cost $2,096. Out of state tuition can cost a little to a lot more. Out of state tuition costs $47,890 for the cost of attendance. Just like in state it is broken down into different categories. Tuition and fees for out of state students are $33,740, room and board is $9,794, and books and supplies are $1,230. This is just the total direct cost for students who are from out of state. Transportation and personal expenses are the same for out of state students and in state students. Students look for the cost of in state of out of state to determine if they would like to attend or if they can afford it (IU Cost).

UIC Honors College has always been my ambition since the day I decided to go to college. One of the main reason to go to Honors College is because it gives me opportunity to work with Excellent Professor and also learning under their guidance is the prestige experience that I want to gain in my life. Not only that, by getting those need and merit based scholarships would help me fulfill my priority, to support my family financially. I want myself to be part of the leadership opportunities that the honors college offers. Moreover, being a constituent of the community that encourages the development of academic excellence helps me to gain important parts of my life that will be helpful in my future. Moving forwards,

In today’s society, a good quality education is an important and valuable necessity. As a college student at Lone Star College, my college experience has greatly influenced me in an enormous amount of ways. By attending college, I have not only had a chance to receive a quality education and degree, but also an opportunity to socialize and interact with various people from different cultures. In addition, the professors on campus have been extremely helpful towards teaching me to succeed in both inside and outside the class room. Furthermore, my college experience at Lone Star has greatly influenced and encouraged me to be successful and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, UBCJA, is a labor union that advocates for worker rights. Founded in 1881, Peter J. McGuire and Gustav created the union in response to the lack of worker right laws in place. Since then, the union has grown substantially in size but still, lobbies for workers’ rights. The union lobbies for issues on a regional and national level. They have endorsed and contributed finically to presidential candidates. They have also endorsed and contributed finically to congressional candidates across party lines who they believe will help fight for worker rights. The union also provides several services to its members such as training, a pension fund, and welfare. The UBCJA has long fought for workers

Unit 10 was a closure for the previous four units in the process of inventing Canada. This unit based on the earliest resources on Canadian history and on the first nations whom lived in this country. This resources were about pre-Cartier and his explorations. Some nations, for example the people who lived in St. Lawrence valley – whom did not have a specific name to be called at- and historians still lacking enough evidence on their existence or what happened with them. These people who are identified as St. Lawrence Iroquoians were lived in the contact area which means the conquerors reached them first. The Iroquoians were exposed to all the dangers Europeans carried into the native lands, different types of diseases they were not immune

As a candidate for the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Honors College, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the invitation to submit an application for consideration. As a UTSA student-athlete, such an opportunity is an extraordinary moment in my life, reason being, the UTSA Honors College invitation validates that I am worthy of the title a true student-athlete. Accordingly, this opportunity dispels the negative stereotypical categorization associated with being an athlete; therefore, to represent UTSA Football Team in this educational endeavor is an honor.

5. Some of the key challenges/issues facing the workers in the education industry include pay deregulation, pension cuts and a punishing increase in workload.

Online programs have been made specifically to fit your schedule if you’re too busy to even go to school. The university also has fourteen external campuses: Albuquerque, New Mexico; Altus ,Oklahoma; Amarillo, Texas; Anchorage, Alaska; Clovis New Mexico; Fairbanks, Alaska; Lubbock, Texas; Miliani Hawaii; Phoenix, Arizona; San Antonio, Texas; Sierra vista, Arizona Tucson, Arizona; Wichita fall, Texas; and even Kenya, Africa.

In order to attend Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis the cost is $8,009 for tuition, $9,104 room and board, $1,148 for books and supplies and $1,047 for other fees. For Non Residents Books and Supplies cost $1,148,Other Fees cost $1,047, and the cost for Room and Board is $9,104.

IU is about 193 miles from my house. Which is about 3 hours and 41 minutes away from my house by car. If you walked to IU it would take roughly 63 hours.

In recent years the cost of college has skyrocketed. During the school year of 2004-2005 the average tuition cost in Indiana was $5,847.(Tuition and Fees by Sector and State over Time) Now in the school year 2015-2016 the average college tuition cost at a public university in Indiana is $9,120, (Tuition and Fees by Sector and State over Time) and that increase is not just due to inflation (Douglas-Gabriel). Tuition at the top two Indiana public universities is even higher; Purdue’s tuition and fees are $10,002 (Undergraduate Admissions) while Indiana University’s tuition and fees are $10,388. (Tuition & Fees) Many universities like IU require incoming freshmen to live on campus. Adding room and board to the equation, the cost jumps to a staggering $20,182.(Undergraduate Admissions) That practically doubles the cost of a college education. Is it worth the extra expense to live on campus? College is a monumental transition. Typical incoming freshmen have lived with their parents their entire life, so they have not had all the responsibility that comes with living away from home. To ease the transition college freshmen should live on campus. A dorm provides an environment designed for college freshman, enables students to earn better grades, and is more convenient for students.
