I feel like this would be an opportunity to expand in depth in my discipline, as well as learn in a small classroom setting. The characteristics of outstanding scholarship, leadership, character, service and citizen definitely apply to me as an individual. The characteristics of outstanding scholarship apply to me as an individual because I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average for the first two trimesters and will continue to maintain a 4.0 grade point average. The characteristics of excellent citizenship relate to me because I have never gotten suspended, expelled, or a detention and have never had excessive tardiness. Not to mention, I demonstrate participation and involvement in all my classes. I wish to be a member of the National Junior Honor (community of people/all good people in the world) because to be a member of this famous/respected organization means so much to mejust to be invited to be one of its members. I would love to be a member of this (community of people/all good people in the world) because all of my life I have lived by a standard of nothingless than the best and I think by being in this organization it will continue my trip of excellence. All of the activities I have ever participated in I have not done for recognition or praise, the gradesI have received I have not done for recognition. I have just done it because I believe that successcomes before work only in the dictionary. The places I am trying to go and
I would be a good representative for the National Junior Honor Society. I believe this because of two things. The first reason is that I get exceptional grades. I try my best to maintain my average over 95. I do not fret when I get a bad grade. Instead I think of it as an opportunity to try even more on the next test or quiz and a chance to learn from my mistakes. The other reason is because I enjoy helping others. I like to help my fellow classmates with their homework if they do not understand it.
I think I should be in the Junior Honor Society. I have met the requirements to receive this opportunity. I would not let this opportunity to waste. I care for the community and do what ever service to help it out. I help do services for the library when they need it. For example on March 10,2017, I helped make capes for sick kids and then gave them happy birthday cards for the birthday kids. I help out my community by helping people shovel their driveway. Like some of my neighbors can't do it so I ask if I can do it for them for free. I look out for people to make sure they are ok. I am a captain of a football team because of my great leadership skills that can be useful. I put effort and time into my work. Around the house I am a role model
It is my opinion that HBCU’s certainly do remain not only relevant, but also necessary. HBCU’s were originally established due African American’s pursuit of an education and the acquiring a piece of the “American Dream” was thwarted by racial segregation. HBCU’s provided our young men and women with an education and developed future leaders. The very essence of their existence bestow black people with a positive identity, a safe nurturing haven for learning where their expression of emotional, mental and spiritual being need not be altered, changed, distorted or parodied for the purpose of assimilation to another’s race, culture or socially acceptable standards.

I am interested in taking English 9 Honors because I hope my future career will be based on English skills such as writing and reading. A local issue I want to address is the poor sanitation in King College Prep. For the longest since my freshman year, I have seen littering all around the school: breakfast bags, wrappers from candy, food in general. Not to mention, I sometimes see stains on the floor that come from fluids such as: milk, syrup, orange juice, apple juice, pop, etc. Furthermore, I want to establish the fact that the smell of the bathrooms is always bad and the toilets and urinals don’t always seem clean or have a good scent. This is especially in the locker and swimming lockers. The smell is always atrocious and can be sniffed even before you get to the section of the bathroom. Adding on, this is a rare occasion, but sometimes the water used for the sinks in the
The day I first visited Hillsdale College will be forever immortalized in my mind. Beneath their elite academics, gorgeous campus, and prestigious reputation, this college rests upon an exceptional foundation: its students. From the welcoming smiles of such learners, to the faculty's helpful amiability, Hillsdale's atmosphere astounded me. I attended an English class where every student was listening with rapt attention. At lunch, I noticed tables saved by cell-phones left behind. All of these things caused my mother to turn to me, wide-eyed.
The University of Notre Dame is one of America’s oldest institutions for higher education. From the beginning, the purpose was clear: create a Catholic-based school, inept to be a Primary and Secondary establishment to adhere to the ever-growing, young-adult male congregation. Additionally, it needed to be constructed quickly and ready to open in a short amount of time. Located near convenient transit of its day, Notre Dame grew to be one of America’s most elite universities. With a continuously growing number of students and faculty, Notre Dame has not only stood the test of time for 173 years, it has become an American institution.
I had started putting on a lot of weight, and already being very quiet and shy, I felt awkward and out of place, especially in year 6. This was the year that our school decided to make year 7 part of high school, so it was the year that the grade six and sevens were both graduating. Our year group felt like we were second rate graduates, only getting 3 days camp as opposed to a week, and instead of an end of year river cruise, we went just went bowling. Probably worst of all, we never got the chance to feel like the oldest in the school until year 12, but by then we were already fed up with school anyway.
Based on my observations I was able to conclude that social norm concerning SJSU rapport among its students is abysmal. SJSU wasn’t meant exemplify the stereotypical party college attitude that most colleges tend to foster. Most students don’t seem care or act strong about the ideal of social interaction and intermingling in SJSU. Variables such a financial condition, education background, and simplicity in general have influenced the social atmosphere of SJSU as lax and mundane. This isn’t to say that students at SJSU are antisocial but it’s seems that most people tend to care about simplicity than deal with the extra burden of maintaining more relationships and spending more time than they can afford on campus. Since a majority of students
The first thing to look at that can explain the difference in productivity is the productivity of the individual employees i.e. labor. It might be that the employees on factory 1 are less literate than employees on Factory 2. Illiteracy is one of the major impediment to productivity and having the same number of employees does not guarantee the same level of productivity especially if the one lack basic education.
