How did the famous writer Jack London’s life affect his writings? His life affects his writing is many ways. Between his love of water and adventure to his jobs and determination, his life is the background for all of his writing. His books reflect his life all you must do is look at his books closely and you will see that traces of him is all of them. His life and his writings are very similar.Though it may not seem like it does much at first.

One way that his life has affected his writing is his love of water. Growing up near a waterfront in Oakland is a huge factor in his life. His determination is part of what made him such a great writer. All of his adventures just prove how determined he is to do things that he puts his mind to. Such as the gold rush and when he sailed to Japan. Also when he decided to be a writer he made a goal to write 1,000 words a day he made his goal every day even when he was sick he did not step. In this way he set himself up for success. He became a bestseller and some say the greatest writer of his time. In eighteen years he wrote 51 books and 100’s of articles. He is not afraid to take risks and when he sets his mind to something he is determined to do it. His determination is unwavering.

So in conclusion how does his life not influence his writing? His love of water and adventure both have roles in his writings and his determination and jobs are also revealed to the reader in his writings. If you look closely you will find traces of him is all of his writings, as you will in many other author's writings. His life is the backbone of all of his writings.
