It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter of recommendation for Jamauri Davis, a senior student at Carolina High School. In the past four years, I have had the honor of knowing Jamauri not only as a student but on a personal level. Based on my experience with Jamauri, I can say that he is a highly gifted student who performs well in the classroom and exhibits the problem solving and critical thinking skills necessary to move forward at the collegiate level. Jamauri has challenged himself at Carolina High School by taking Advanced Placement courses such as AP Human Geography, AP Calculus, AP English, and AP Environmental studies all the while maintaining an active life as an athlete.

It’s with great privilege to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Machayla Longfoot, a Senior FFA member at Judson High School. Machayla is an outstanding student and a valuable part of her FFA chapter. Over the past three years she has developed into one of the strongest leaders in her chapter. Machayla is someone her fellow FFA members look up to and seek guidance from. She can be counted on and is a good organizer when something needs to be accomplished.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the Faculty Council for the opportunity to be a delegate of the NJHS faculty council. For sure, I understand that to get into this council will not only take astounding grades, but also take great leadership and courage. If I become a member of the National Honor Society, I shall effectively utilize the chance given to challenge my limits of courage, leadership, and determination. I will endeavor to do my best in any occasions when the faculty council gives me the chance to prove this.
I have grown to know Lexus Mills of year, having served as her Math Teacher but also as her Mentor her at Virginia Union University. It is an honor to write this letter of recommendation as part of the application of Lexus Mills as a potential participant in your summer scholar program. Academically, Lexus was enrolled in a General Studies summer lecture during the Math Summer Institute (MSSI) during the summer of 2015 at Virginia Union University as an entering college freshman. Over the past semester Miss Mills was a first-rate student and earned a final grade of an A in Pre-Calculus part 1 and a B Applied Calculus Business. Lexus has always challenged herself academically. I would like to take the opportunity to convey some personal thoughts and observations of my nephew, Ciaran P. Hourihan, as part of the admissions process. I have responded to many requests for recommendations and have done so in what I hope has been an unbiased way. To maintain the same level of objectivity when it comes to my nephew, is, admittedly, impossible, particularly in light of our recent visit to Alma Mater which confirmed both in his mind and in mine that Holy Cross offers a unique combination of opportunities for Ciaran in the liberal arts, and athletics not found at most other colleges.
When Cortney Myers asked me to write her recommendation letter I was grateful. I have known her since the fourth grade and we became closer during the sixth grade band where we both played clarinet together. She was always a better player than I but she was always supportive of myself and other clarinet players. She overcame many struggle with school as well as with personal issues, she is a strong young lady.
I have been given the pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Eagle Scout candidate Ethan Lewis. I have know Ethan all of his life. He has also spent the past 3 years as high school's head tech crew leader. As part of the teach crew he is responsible for planning and setting up the lights for each show. Along with that he is responsible for teaching the other members of the teach crew how to successfully do
The purpose of this letter is to recommend Marco Mauti for the $1,000 scholarship. Marco has worked hard to get where he is at in his final year of high school. Few students impress me as much as Miss Alexandria Lee, which is why I am writing in support of her application for the Watson-Brown scholarship. Having known Alex for the past four years as her Drama Club advisor, I have witnessed her growth from a shy and insecure child into an assertive, creative, intelligent, and mature young woman. Besides being kind and caring to a fault, Alex is determined and motivated at a level far higher than her peers. She is a tremendous leader and role model as well as an inspiration to all who know her.
