James DiGiacomo is an actor and stand up comedian. He is on the show “Kevin Can Wait”, “KC undercover”,and in several commercials, but did you know that he’s only 11! He is hilarious and when you get to know him, he is an ordinary kind-hearted kid. Does learning to remember your lines help you do well on tests? He explained that you can definitely remember answers for a test or quiz if you know your lines. He said it’s like an “ upgrade to his memory” I read online that you support animal shelters, how do you help the shelters? He explained how all of the money from this comedy shows goes to the shelters. His dad's friend started his own business, it’s a foundation to help animal shelters. Do you get to put in ideas for the commercials …show more content…
He also traveled across the country to California for K.C. Undercover which he said he really enjoyed. How do you get your education? When I asked James this question, he confirmed that it is very hard for him to get education since acting is his main priority. Therefore James has a on-set tutor on “Kevin Can Wait” so in-between scenes he studies with his tutor which is very shocking and amazing for an 11 year old, which proves that he really is proactive, such a great kid! What is your go to joke? James told us that his opening or go to joke is “...So my mom tells me that she has gray hair and wrinkles,..that she’s getting old. Then she says tell me something good about myself, to make me feel better. So I say, well you have perfect eyesight.” That joke cracked us up! James tells us that the jokes persue he doesn’t really mean. He loves his family and would never hurt them, he only says that stuff for the purpose of comedy. If you were not a comedian or actor what else would you aspire to be? James told us he loves video games. If he wasn’t a comedian or actor he would be a video game
Society will continue to judge humanity based on race, culture, and intelligence. Stereotypes affect how citizens determine their future. Demonstrated in the excerpt “The Hunger of Memory,” Richard Rodriguez faces stereotypes when he travels to the United States to achieve a higher education. Likewise, in the essay “Superman and Me,” Sherman Alexie is assumed to be less intelligent based of his ethnic background. Both of these authors’ futures are influenced differently based off the prejudice situations they face. Whereas Rodriguez perceives differences as continuing in a stereotypical humanity, Alexie perceives differences as expanding beyond stereotypical standards.
Even though James has his problems, he is also a very giving person. He never forgot where he came from. He continues to help the community in which he grew up, by donating during Thanksgiving and Christmas (Brenchley, 2003, DVD).
He says, “I have to climb up that?” He says this because he is looking out for himself and making sure that he won’t get hurt, because if he falls then that will hurt and might cause serious injury or even death. In summary, It is important to notice that James takes precaution when it comes to his own safety. Everybody should take precaution when it comes to their physical safety because sometimes it can save your life. Furthermore, Not only is James protective of himself physically, but he is also protective of his reputation as a tough and cool kid. In his neighborhood, he is considered a cool kid who is trying to get into a gang. “Cool, I say, but I’m more Nervous than ever.” James says. He does this because he doesn’t want to seem scared in front of the K- Bones even though he is super scared. Besides, if he acts scared, the k-bones might think he is too young to be in their gang so that’s why he is acting cool. In addition, to protect his reputation he also says, “I'm here to prove that I am tough enough to be in the K-Bones!” He said this because he needed motivation to climb that sign. Because even though he was scared he still had to do it to prove himself worthy to the
Stereotypes are oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person, group or thing. Obnoxious, narcissistic, rebellious, emotionless, unloyal, out of control and up to no good… are a few wide number of stereotypes that are accredited to teenage boys nowadays. Stereotypes are everywhere: social media, television, magazines, etc… Stereotyping a person or a group of people in a negative manner has a long lasting effect on those who experience the prejudice. Stereotyping causes many misconceptions about teenage boys. This could be seen throughout the novel, Holes, the author, Louis Sachar, endorses and challenges the teenage boy stereotypes by the diversity of the characters’ persona, actions and characteristics. The book Holes follows the tale of
James is an easily recognizable man with the defined birthmark on his right eye and his hairstyle that he hasn’t changed in years. He has a love for metal music ,which surprises most, August Burns Red is his favorite band. Playing video games is his favorite pastime since a young age. James currently resides in Lakeland where he has been for the past seventeen
James knows he is not real, but dedicates his life to making people believe he is. When he tells Nick “I didn’t want you to think I was just some nobody” (73). He means: believe what I tell you about me, so I can feel better and hopefully become who I say I am. There is desperation in his words
Despite the fact that he respected his mother, James grew to question her unorthodox strictness and unusual teachings. Eventually, he graduated college to become a press writer and a jazz musician, yet he still felt incomplete. James says "Play sax, write books, compose music, do something, express yourself, who the hell are you anyway? There were two worlds bursting inside me trying to get out. I had to find out more about who I was..." (330). Even though James has a great job that pays well, he still quits because he wishes to figure out who he is. By saying this, he proves that he wants to find his identity and reason for continuing his line of work. I chose this quote because it clearly demonstrates how James feels about finding his identity.
Except one time when his mom walked him to the bus stop on the first day of school. On page 12 James starts noticing that his mom is different from the other moms James said “Then why don’t you look like Rodney’s mother, or Pete’s mother? How come you don't look like me?” That was not the first time that James questioned his mother he’d always been curious, I mean who wouldn’t when the only parents you have is a different race than you.
James is confused and does not know how to choose between writing and music and also whether to identify himself as black or white. An example of him overcoming this situation is when he says “there are two worlds bursting inside me trying to get out. I had to find out who I was and in order to find out who I was, I had to find out who my mother was” (266). This is important because James wants to know what the right decision to make is. He wants to make the decision that will make him find his path in life and make him happy and successful. At the end James chooses both careers and identifies himself as biracial, which makes him feel
Looking deeper into James's personality my assumption would be that he is extroversion and Freud's theory of superego. Han Eysenck's view of personality traits is that they are inherited. He believes that there are two types of people we encounter extroversion and introversion. In reviewing Eysenck's information, there is two second-order factors extroversion and neuroticism. An extroversion viewed in terms of activity, sociability, risk-taking, impulsiveness, expressiveness, reflectiveness and
Last season, James even got suspended from SUR for a bit, and Lisa Vanderpump made it clear that she wants him to get his act together. One fan asked James about these rumors on Twitter and he responded to them. The fan said, "Also, word on the street is that James Kennedy & Lala Kent won't be back for season 5 of #PumpRules thoughts." James Kennedy replied saying, "Word on what street? I haven't heard of this street." This must be his way of saying that this is not true and that he will be back again next
This showed his family that he was really serious when he said that he would disappear for a while. It put the situation in perspective for them and made it more real. That their son actually up and left, without informing them of the move. This was a very important part of the story. It changed
I found this to be shocking as I did not think I had that amount of recall with listening, especially over topics I am not fond of. I suffer from chronic illnesses that affect my memory skills so I was very happy to see that I could recite the information back and have full recall of it. I am suddenly seeing I am not as bad of a listener as I once thought at all.
In "The Sky Is Gray" James displays his maturity early on when he is waiting at the bus stop with his mother to go to the dentist's office. His mind was on his mother and whether she had left enough wood to keep the family warm, if it was going to rain, and if
You recognize that don't you? (James) Yeah... Yeah, I do. But I don't know why.
