James Dewey Watson was born on April 6, 1927, in Chicago Illinois. In all of Watson's childhood, he stayed in Chicago. In James early years, he attended an elementary school called Horace Mann Grammar School. One of James’s favorite hobbies was studying birds, and watching birds fly by. After Elementary school, Watson went to a high school called south shore high school in Chicago. After going to high school for two years, he received a tuition scholarship to the university of Chicago. Then in the summer of 1943 Watson entered the university of Chicago's experimental four year college. At a young age until his adult years James Watson always dreamed of being a “hero”. Then, in 1947, James Watson earned a B.Sc. degree in Zoology.

He graduated from high school at the age of 15 and immediately after he enrolled at the University of Chicago. One of his teachers from Chicago said that Watson “must have been very keen”. He said this because he had given him 2 A’s, and “I don’t give very many A’s.” The famous biologist Paul, Weiss, who was James Watson’s instructor, said “Watson never took any notes in class, yet he came out top of the class at the end of the semester. “

A.John Broadus Watson, was describe as a gifted child, but was a vexatious student. John became an atheists even though his mother subjected him to harsh religions training. He was married twice and had 4 children, he often focused most of his behaviorism studies on his children. After his second wife passed his relationship with his children dwindled and he became a recluse. B. John was an American psychologist who established the psychology school of behaviorism.

He doesn’t understand the idea of studying history in order to improve himself. Ms. Watson gives a lot of importance to Christianity. That is the reason why she frees Jim in her will. Before Ms. Watson died, she may have realized one of two things: slavery went against her beliefs or breaking her promise to Jim went against her

After Widow Douglas adopted Huck to try and civilize him Miss Watson took charge and tries to teach Huck. Miss Watson tries to educate Huck in spelling, reading, and religion. Along with always scolding Huck, Miss Watson teaches Huck all the things that were wrong with their society. Miss Watson is a Christian woman who always turns to prayer, and believes she is good person. Twain shows the hypocrisy and the American ideal versus the American reality through Miss Watson because as her and the other women pray believing their leading good lives, they own slaves.

Watson is known as the father of behaviorism. He was born on January 9, 1878 in Greenville, South Carolina. He attended Furman University at 16 and graduated with a master’s degree. Watson then attended the University of Chicago where he became interested in the field of psychology. Watson received his doctorate 1903 and later became an associate professor of psychology at John Hopkins University. John B Watson established behaviorism when he delivered his lectured entitled “Psychology as the Behaviorist Views It” at Colombia University. Watson’s most famous experiment was the “Little Albert” experiment. In the experiment Watson conditioned a child to fear a white rat. He did so by pairing a white rat with a loud noise. Watson was asked to retire from Hopkins because of an affair he was having with his assistant. From the very beginning, Miss Watson has proved to be an extremely devoted Christian. She believes in organized religion and does everything by the Bible. Miss Watson believes that she will go to Heaven because she follows all the strict rules of the Bible. However, some of her actions coincide with the morals of society, which oppose the morals of the Bible. Not only does she own a slave, she also “pecks on [Jim] all de time, en treats [Jim] pooty rough” (43). Miss Watson also shows religious hypocrisy when she claims moral superiority by saying that she “was going to live so as to go to the good place”, but that Tom would not go to the good place “by a considerable sight” (3). By boasting that she will go to Heaven, owning a slave, and treating him poorly, Miss Watson was able to portray the hypocrisy in religion. Religious people are supposed to be humble, treat others with respect, and be kind. Such a devoted Christian should know the difference between what is right and wrong. William Bell was born 12 March 1816 at Barnard Castle in Durham and parish of Barnard Castle, England to WIlliam and Jane Bell. The Bells lived near the banks of the Tees River in a comfortable cottage. They were a family of high held standards and they worked hard to keep them. In doing this, gained the title of a family of means. This meant a family of notable importance among the upper class in England.

Watson and Holmes have gotten along easily since the moment they met each other, which might be unusual due to Holmes being a solitary man. Nevertheless, they still have an admirable friendship. Watson has a history to be proud of which Holmes respects that and they're both similar in many aspects. Watson also is a well educated man, which makes their relationship easier. Holmes likes the fact that Watson praises most of his qualities. The thing that Holmes admires the most out of Watson though is that he's a person who thinks for themselves.

This paper will talk about Dr. Jean Watson, her theory background, and will provide the concepts of her theory.   Furthermore, I will connect the theory to person, health, nursing, and environment of the caring moment and apply a transpersonal relationship and relate these issues within my Practice, skills and experience.

One of the most famous American Psychologists, John B. Watson, conducted numerous experiments that helped establish a clearer understanding of how the human brain associates response to certain situations. In one of his more famous experiments, Watson tested the conditioned emotional response of a small child. This child, Albert, was eleven months old and was one of “the most developed youngsters ever brought to the hospital” (Watson, 1). It was noted that he never presented fear in any situation, and rarely ever cried. For this reason, Albert was a strong subject for testing throughout the conditioned response experiment. Ultimately, Watson hoped to answer the research question: “Are reactions and behaviors of humans a result of conditioning, or are they naturally implemented in humans from birth?”. However, before Watson began the experiment, he hypothesized that all behaviors are a result of conditioning. Similar to previous observations made, Watson’s goal was to implement stimuli, triggering an emotional response while a certain object was in the child’s possession. If Watson’s hypothesis was correct, a fear reaction would be triggered when the same object was shown to Albert.
