The world is silent “Camelot” has fallen at the sound of a shot heard around the world. A great man has been silenced and a generation is brought to a standstill, for a nation has lost a great leader and the world a hero. And who was this man who had influenced the world with his political charm and strives for change? The man of the hour is John Fitzgerald Kennedy. On May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts one of America’s most beloved presidents is birthed into The Kennedy Family, a socially and politically prominent family residing in Massachusetts. Sadly during the early years of their marriage, Jack’s back began to trouble him and he had two operations to improve it. While recovering Jack wrote a book and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for a biography in 1957. The same year, the Kennedy’s first child, Caroline, was born. John F. Kennedy was becoming a very popular politician, although his peers at the beginning had seen as nothing more than a spoilt rich kid they began to be swayed by his charismatic personality. John decided to run for President in the 1960 Presidential election, John F. Kennedy had the upper hand throughout the campaign, due to the fact that on camera; he came off as “young and vital”. At the end of the elections John f. Kennedy won against his opponent in a very close race. Another joy accompanied his success; John F. Kennedy was now the father of a little boy, named John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. “John-John”. At the age of 43 John F. Kennedy was now the youngest to have ever been elected President of the United States of America. During John F. Kennedy’s time in office, America had entered a time of leisure where the population was increasing and way of life was improving, the nation along with the media was in love with the young president and his family.
