Justin's Recent Behaviors In Schools

UCM: CPSW did a home visit to Ms. Brenda Borkovec's home. Both children were in the living room playing together. Also, Ms. Brenda was in the living room holding Aydden and feeding him. Ms. Brenda stated that she has not received any papers regarding her foster care license. Ms. Brenda stated that she is frustrated with the process and that it has taken a longer time. Ms. Brenda mentioned that it has taken a long time for her to complete her fingerprint. She reported that currently she is waiting the background study and fingerprint forms to be sent to her. Ms. Borkovec's phone ring and it was Elizabeth Borkovec. Ms. Brenda asked CPSW if Elizabeth can come and join the meeting. CPSW approved it and Elizabeth Borkovec showed up less than 5 minutes.

A, B) MSTT met with the caregiver to examine how she plans to increase the supervision and monitoring of the youth while out in public. Caregiver expressed while the youth is at home she is going to speak with her mother and his aunt to help while she's at work. MSTT encouraged caregiver to reach out to the school and ask them if they would be able to supervise and monitor him. Caregiver contacted the school and is waiting to hear a response. MSTT will continue to work with the caregiver in increasing the supervision

CM Gilmore arrived at the home at 6:30 p.m. to address the allegations in the report regarding the serious injury. BFA Sean Morgan greeted me and officer at the door. CM Gilmore explained the purpose of the visit. Present at all were all children that reside in the home (Rocco Morgan-5/250/2016, Journey Morgan-6/3/2015, and Braedyn Morgan-12/11/2006). All children were playing in the living room watching cartoon when we entered the home. CM Gilmore observed Bfa had recently cooked dinner.

The reporter said Justin assaulted Teagan as well; she was having bladder problems, and her mother (Michelle) didn’t take her to the doctor, but she looked at her and said “it looked like pink cauliflower coming out of her vagina and she had been bleeding”. In the report, it stated that Chad found out he attempted to do the same thing to Leslie (8 years old) when she was 2 years old. The reporter said the family resided in Alabama, and Justin’s mother walked into the room and found Justin trying to put his penis in Leslie’s vagina. Heather indicated that she didn’t call the police because she didn’t want him to be charged with a crime. Heather told Justin if he did it again, she would report him to the police, and he would be taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. The reporter was concerned because Justin is now living at the same address as Leslie. The reporter said Heather gave temporary guardianship of Leslie to Supreina Holcomb (July 2012), but the she removed guardianship when she placed the child in the Mobile School District (Gilliard Elementary/March 22, 2013). Justin’s well-being has been significantly impacted by his recent life events, these contributing factors have been causing Justin to be struggling with depression due to contributing cultural and psychological factors. Justin has been struggling with the loss of his uncle Reggie who Justin described to having a very close relationship with him, his uncle was like his father and teacher to Justin (CASEWORLD). This loss to the family caused Justin to become depressed as Justin rarely left his bedroom, began to lose interest in work eventually leading for him to quit is job. (CASEWORLD) Justin was experiencing grief and loss even after Sorry Business he was still experiencing these feeling, it began to effect him as a whole person including his mind, spirit and body, as well as the relationship he had with his family. Justin is currently experiencing significant grief and loss which is contributing to his well-being and feelings.

CM Gilmore completed a home visit at the residence of Denika Davis. CM Gilmore addressed the allegations in the report. Ms. Davis responded to the allegations by stating that VC has been having a lot of behavioral issues at school in the classroom. Ms. Davis was able to provide the behavioral notes from the teacher regarding her behavior. She disclosed that she will start off with a small discipline, which would be taking away her eletronics. She disclosed that then it would move to her not being to play on the basketball team. She admitted to spanking her due to her discipline. VC disclosed that they pray every morning about her behavior, and has no safety concerns at home with her mom. CM Gilmore contacted the school, who had no other concerns

MSTT met with Drew and Esmrel for a session in their home. Drew informed MSTT there was an issue with Esmrel miss behaving during school. Drew explained Esmrel also came home from school and stated the school counsleor made a statement to him which made him feel uncomfortable. Drew asked Esmrel to explain what he mean and Esmrel explained to him the counselor was taking about the split between Drew and Sabrina and stated to Esmrel "you know you can always live with your mother" and other statements which upset Drew. Drew called the school to address the situation with the counselor and was told Esmrel is lying and those things were never said. MSTT and Drew explained to Esmrel it is important to tell the truth and if he is making these things up.

CM Gilmore responded to the call by completing UHV to ensure safety and well-being of the children listed in the report. All children were interviewed and no disclosures regarding a safety concern in their home environment was provided to CM Gilmore. CM Gilmore addressed the allegations with Bmo, who was able to explain the information that was listed in the report. CM Gilmore have no current safety concerns with the family and the well-being of the children. CM Gilmore will move forward with closing the case with no further involvment.

CM Gilmore met with all members of the household during a home visit. VC Aubrey Smith disclosed no concerns in the home; however, Bmo's behavior appeared to be very bizzare. Evidence by constantly talking, and constantly moving during the interview. Due due to the concerned behavior from the school, and pedatrician, Sharon Beall. Bmo was drug screened, and tested positive for Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, and Methadone. Bfa was not drug screened throughout the investivation, due to his demeanor being calm and normal. Bfa has been coperative with the child throughout the investigation. VC Aubrey Smith recently had to appear in court due to a truancy case. Judge Flanagan ordered for the case to be tranferred to ongoing due to the information

Mr. Alden asked me if I could have a conversation with two of his students that were involved in a fight during dismissal time, yesterday. He informed me that the mother of one of the students (Fares) wanted to talk to the other student involved (Salem), but he didn’t allow it to happen. He asked me during the flag ceremony and later when they went back to class, Fares mom was upstairs and talked to Salem, as soon as he saw that happening he stopped it.

Justin was innocently played like a puppet by Naomi resulting in him doing whatever Naomi wanted without her ever getting caught. Since the first day, Naomi played hard to get with Justin because she knew that doing this could help her manipulate him into helping him do her job. Upon requesting several interviews with Naomi she only said, “These kids need to be woken up. They need to realize they can’t be doing this.” What Naomi said instantly proves that she never thought of Justin anymore than a colleague, just a human who was going to use to get her job done. During an interview with Justin he said, “I would have a good time when I would be with her. And I would be with her all the time. And that's why, when all this collapsed and caved in, I felt so-- it just hurt.” Justin truly loved Naomi, which is why even after Justin was arrested he felt hurt.

MSTT met with Christine and Calysta for a session. MSTT ask Christine and Calysta to explain what has happened over the past week because MSTT was on vacation. Christine explained everything has been going good and Calysta have been helping out around the home more. Christine stated she believe there has been a change in Calysta's behavior because she has not had contact with her friend. Calysta did have her court hearing and was assigned a probation officer. She has not met with the probation officer has of yet but they have spoken with her and a home visit is scheduled for following week. MSTT will schedule to attend the meeting with the probation officer. MSTT will continue to work with Christine on setting age appropriate consequences for

SC, Jennifer Stoker was contacted by Jonathan’s mother, Father, provider and Sandra Nelly via telephone. Sandra introduced herself as SC from life path who following Jonathan. In treatment, Dr. Perry and the other clinicians took the following steps in Justin's case. The first step was Dr. Perry's familiarization with Justin. He walked over to the crib he was in and took off the lab coat and the tie. The actions were to reduce the possibilities of the doctor threatening Justin since the boy was not conversant with the jackets and the neckties. The second step towards Justin's therapy was to move him to a private room to the hospital where a given number of clinicians would attend to him.
