CM Gilmore contacted Columbia Co Dispatch @ 5:40 pm, and was en route with dispatch to the home at 6:20pm. CM Gilmore arrived at the home at 6:30 p.m. to address the allegations in the report regarding the serious injury. BFA Sean Morgan greeted me and officer at the door. CM Gilmore explained the purpose of the visit. Present at all were all children that reside in the home (Rocco Morgan-5/250/2016, Journey Morgan-6/3/2015, and Braedyn Morgan-12/11/2006). A report was received on 7/9/2017, indicating that Tammy Albury (mother) and Armando Guerrero (father) were involved in a domestic dispute in the presence of Cember Albury (CV-15), Devon Albury (CV-16), and Damian Guerrero (CV-1). According to the report, Armando went to Tammy’s truck to retrieve his property. It was said that Tammy went to Armando’s car to retrieve a phone cord and Armando grabbed her by the hair and pulled her by her left arm out of the car. The report indicated that Tammy fell on the ground and Armando got into his car and drove off. The report indicated that Tammy sustain a bruise on her left upper arm around the bicep. According to the report Cember (CV-15), witness Armando pulled Tammy out of the car.
The first witness shown on the stand in the documentary was James Stephens. He was the husband of the victim, Mary Ann Stephens. Mr. Stephens was the crucial witness in this case, because he was the only witness. He claimed in his testimony that Brenton Butler murdered Mary Ann Stephens three feet away from his face. Approximately three hours after the incident, he was able to identify Butler as the culprit from fifty feet away. However, the defense attorney was able to pick highlight multiple problems during the cross-examination. The entire incident took place within a five second window. The defendant was wearing a t-shirt with a prominent logo when he was arrested. Mr. Stephens did not mention the logo to police, and incorrectly stated that the shirt had a collar. It was later learned when a second suspect was arrested for the crime, that Mary Ann Stephens was shot after she spilled her coffee on the shooter. James Stephens never mentioned once mentioned this.
Jane had undergone several surgeries to her left leg due to crushing both her tibia, fibula as well as her broken ankle. Jane had also broken her femur on her left leg. SSCM Gilmore made an unannounced visit to 139 Langston Drive Grovetown Ga 30813. SSCM met response time at 11:15am. SSCM met with Ericka Gilstrip, Hunter Gilstrip, Justin Gilstrip, and Katherine Gilstrip. SSCM Gilmore explained to Bmo about the allegations that were listed in the report. She stated the incident happened the past summer in the month of July. She stated the incident was related to one of the many times that Justin was into areas that he was supposed to be in. The intial interview was conducted at school. Ariaha reported where Bmo is employed at, and where they reside. VC Ariahna reported that her mom hits her with her fist one time upside the head on a daily basis. VC Ariahna said sometimes it hurts. VC Ariahna reported that she has never had any bleeding, marks or bruises after her mom hits her. VC Ariahna reported that she is not scared of her mom and likes living with her sometimes. Upon arrival we made contact with Justin Pearce, walking with his girlfriend and his children at the end of the driveway near the Farm to Market Road. While speaking to Justin Pearce I detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and or person. The interview was conducted at Columbia County Sheriff Department the Debuck family met CM Gilmore and LE at the sheriff office. Officer Payne was present in the interview along with the Heather and Asa Debuck. Jeffery Debuck a son of the family, who they adopted at birth. They reported that earlier that morning they had a counseling session with Dr. Pope with Life Management Group. During the counseling session, she disclosed that VC would be a safety threat if he were to go back home where there are young girls in the home. CM Gilmore met with all members of the household during a home visit. VC Aubrey Smith disclosed no concerns in the home; however, Bmo's behavior appeared to be very bizzare. Evidence by constantly talking, and constantly moving during the interview. Due due to the concerned behavior from the school, and pedatrician, Sharon Beall. Bmo was drug screened, and tested positive for Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, and Methadone. Bfa was not drug screened throughout the investivation, due to his demeanor being calm and normal. Bfa has been coperative with the child throughout the investigation. VC Aubrey Smith recently had to appear in court due to a truancy case. CM spoke to Justin about his recent behaviors in school, his inappropriate dressing and leaving school grounds. Justin informs CM that he left school grounds to visit his adoptive parents because he misses them. CM inform Justin that he did not have permission from DCP&P to visit the Williams. CM informs Justin that his safety comes first. CM also informs Justin that Joslin was also aware of his behaviors in school and according to her if he continues displaying unsafe and oppositional behaviors she can violate him. Justin states that he does not want his probation to be violated. Mrs. Monestime reports that Justin is having a better day today.
